I'm so glad you're doing some of the junk journal July prompts as I really enjoyed your videos for junk journal January. This is a fun page. I love watercolor crayons, they're one of my favorite things, water based mediums in general really. As I was listening to you talk about the watercolor crayons being in your drawer for a couple of years, I remembered that I have a 3 pack of oil paint sticks that I've never used, that I bought 17 years ago! Now I'm wanting to get them out and figure out how to use them. 💜💜💜
I think many of us crafters are guilty of having items tucked away and unused, that's what I am really enjoying about doing this challenge. Its encouraging me to try new things and pull out those unused items. Sometimes I find new favourites and sometimes I don't but I always enjoy the exploring and creative play.😊
Thank you, this is my first year doing one of Megs challenges and I thoroughly enjoyed it even though its outside of my crafting comfort zone so I highly recommend trying it even if you start out only doing a few of the prompts. 😊
I liked your stamped image. I thought oh cute - looks like me. Then you said it looks like you 😮- lol. When I Was thinking what would I come up with for the word spark… I thought creative ideas.., but had no clue how to capture that. I like the way you captured your thoughts for spark.
What a wonderful surprise to see this! I love this idea and have actually been subbed to Meg’s channel for a while now. I don’t think I’ll be actually doing this one but I’ll definitely be watching. You’ve inspired me to dig out some gel crayons I have had now for a couple of years and never played with.
I'm happy you have been inspired to pull out your gel crayons. As crafters there is often something we have brought and not got round to using. One of my crafting goals this year is to really look at my stash and work out what I want to keep and to use things I haven't yet. Not sure these watercolour crayons are something I enjoy yet but I am happy to have taken the opportunity to use them finally. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment 😊
I squealed outloud (the grandboys looked at me all crazy) when I saw you were also doing #junkjournaljuly!!! I made a small lil journal about a week or two ago for this month- I was inspired by today's video- the crayons u are using work best for me when I use the crayon and then use water over the area...really looking forward to following ur makes for this month
Thank you for the tip. I'm still not sure these crayons are something I will use a lot, but it was great to finally open them and use them a little. I'm sure all of us crafters have things in our stash we haven't used yet for whatever reason, and I enjoy this challenge as it pushes me out of my crafting comfort zone and encourages me to try new things. I hope you enjoy working in your journal this month. 😊
I am so glad you are joining in with jourkjournaljuly, I was introduced to you with the January colab and have followed you ever since, you are so inspirational and have watched - and often worked along with you through #creeponjune24. Thank you x
