I have been to xizang China twice, in 2009 and 2019. Lhasa is more beautiful. Nyingchi is beautiful, Shigatse is beautiful, unique and beautiful scenery in the world,but you have to endure strong altitude sickness. One side is beautiful scenery, the other side is physical discomfort. Many places in xizang have been well developed. At least in such a dry area where it is difficult to grow crops, it is really not easy for people to live without food and vegetables and live without poverty.

The standing Guru Padma by Sambhava is called Guru Pema Gyalpo representing more like a royal king.
Is the Sakya library at Samye or at Sakya monastery?

I heard that in 2017, Indian pilgrims were suspended from going on pilgrimage to xizang, China, because of India's crossing the border, not because of demonstrations. But after 2017, Indian pilgrims can come to xizang China for pilgrimage, but you don’t know it.
