    Very good description. Slightly different from the owners book procedure, as they don't show rolling material around the bow. I like your way better. Best Wishes.

    Is that the overflow carpark of the Halfway House pub? It use to be my local until we moved to Suffork. Its a great real ale pub.

    Hello, very good video. I have a question. At minute1.38-1.42, there is a rubber form fitted against the curved aluminum frame, what is it and where do I get one. It is shown in the parts diagram (327/1) but cannot locate one. I have a SIV. Thanks

      If you mean the rubber seal that goes around the edge of the body behind the aluminium trim piece I think it is called the body tub seal. Try Sunbeam Spares Co. Should be easily available.

      @@TheSunbeamAlpineChannel It is actual a piece that is in front of the aluminum trim. It might be a custom piece but allows the top to close with no gap. It is shown on your video @ minute 1.40.

      Hi, 327/1 is the hood roll cover. The Parts manual says it is only on a Series V. I can’t see that part in the video! Perhaps you are misidentifying something here.

      @@TheSunbeamAlpineChannel Okay on 327/1. In watching it again, frame by frame, it maybe the soft top its self and the way it is folded. Though, I dont think so. Anyway, thanks very much, very good video.

    General ? are there any websites that list Alpines and Tigers for sale?

    • @TheSunbeamAlpineChannel
      @TheSunbeamAlpineChannel  3 года назад +2

      I would recommend joining the owners club. You will always find the best cars on the ‘for sale’ adverts there as these are the people who know the cars inside out and care for their cars.

    The factory GT removable hardtop model couldn't have soft tops fitted without additional parts and some metal surgery

      You can always fit a removable soft top to a GT. This video shows how.

      In English this comment says “How to upholster Alpine seat”. Nestor we remove the standard seats from our Alpines and fit MGF ones as they are much more comfortable. This link shows how we do it.

    A good reason NOT to fit a mohair hood. Too thick, they crease easily & such hoods are too obvious an afterthought & an attempt to unnecessarily up-grade. Note the long chrome edges to the side bins to protect the paintwork as the centre panel is moved. On Series 1/11 cars they were just small squares.
