I have four different generations of Camaro’s! Not one is a regret and not one had given me any issues! None of them are my daily driver, only secondary! Of course my favorite, my 2022 ZL1/1LE six speed manual! 🇺🇸🇺🇸
Completely agree. I have a 2019 2SS 1LE and luv daily driving it. Good move on the ZL front end. I am thinking about the side skirts to they look great
Thanks man! I expected a lot of this car and it definitely delivers! The Skirts I got were off eBay by EOS 👍 they sell ‘imperfect’ ones that are cheap and to my eye the quality was great
That color is dope and I absolutely love it! I would buy a beater car to drive instead of driving every day. I heard of ZL1 owners selling their car and getting the SS instead, probably a better riding suspension. I love the SS bro, that’s such a beautiful car. I actually like the Camaros more than most Corvettes without question. I’ve been looking into getting one myself. Also I love the front splitter, looks super aggressive for sure. That blue color looks so good with that black hood. Cool video.
Cool. I recently picked up a Red Hot 19 1SS 1LE. It really is very good. It's amazing how comfortable it is on the street for just how good it handles. That Magnaride suspension is no joke for combining street comfort and high cornering limits in one suspension setup. It absorbs impacts better than my wifes Taurus SEL, and corners in ways that any other Camaro or Mustang I've ever owned could only dream of, even with thousands invested in their chassis/suspension setups. Nice car and congrats.
Swap out the rear cradle bushings for ZL1 1LE solid cradle bushings. The best handling mod you can do. That is the biggest handling difference (other than ride quality) from the ZL1 1LE. It makes all the difference, you know exactly what the rear-end is doing at all times and gets rid of 100% of the lateral movements. I did that on my SS 1LE a year ago.
I have the same color 2018 2SS 1LE. Drive it daily and absolutely love it. There is no better track/daily driver car you can get for around 45K brand new. Love that ZL1 front end!
Beautiful Car Bro!! 👍🏻👍🏻I ended up buying a 2015 Z/28 with only 600 miles back in 2017 for $46,000. And I love the car!! I’m glad I bought it when I did.
I just sold my Focus RS recently for more than I paid for it when I bought it new. My problem with the Focus RS was it just didn’t excite me. In no way was I ever afraid of it, so it just wasn’t thrilling. Honestly, the RS was just slow (or on track terms, a momentum car). I plan to wait a 6 months or so for the car market to stabilize and then to get the ZL1 1LE. I respect the SS 1LE, but I think after the cars I’ve tracked over the years, I want something that is at least as quick as my old Z06 or I think I’ll have the same issues I had with the RS. The ZL1 1LE definitely does what I want my fun car to do, and I have a 2nd car to daily (Volvo V70R). I went out in a ZL1 1LE last week, and I loved it and had no issues with the ride quality. Enjoy the SS 1LE on the track and keep the shiny side up!
FYI, the Npp valves stay closed during load on "stealth mode" if you go to settings, engine sound management. Lots of folks are doing very loud setups keeping the Npp for that stealth option.
Ive had mine for 8 days now, im afraid to turn off traction control, i feel the ass skating around enough as it is, maybe in a week ill try taking it off 😂 i love my car so much! It costs almost the same as my mortgage 🤣🤣
Man I really wanted a 1le but I got young kids (3 of them now 🤣) so I went with an M3 instead. Once the kids get older though I’m for sure picking up a 1le as a weekend car, these cars are amazing. Those side skirts are straight plastic though, you mentioned they are carbon fiber
Some love from your Canucks neighbours (Quebec, Canada) It is nice to have some real adults that are revising their real daily driven car on a realistic budget. Keep up the good work! 👍🏻 Even though I drive an Audi B9 S4 I do like and appreciate what American sport cars can bring to the table.
Really enjoying watching modifying your camaro. That thing is goals. I noticed the link for the side skirts was for a black set and not the carbon fiber you have.
Yeah I originally linked the CF ones but ran out of stock and changed the price to something crazy like 3,000, so I put the ABS ones until they are back in stock And thanks man!
Congratulations. I believe that the exhaust louvers open up on heavy acceleration, regardless of which mode you are in (unless you have customized it). There is probably just an RPM threshold...maybe 2,500? Never looked in to it that deep.
@@macpettit2327 Love the way that Chevy engineers put these together. It amazes me that they aren't selling more. Hopefully the LT1 trim helps the sales numbers going forward. Otherwise, we might end up seeing the Camaro name on a shelf again.
