What a player he was ,during his prime.....as person who grew up in Zvishavane and working in Harare ,i made sure to watch shabanie playing against all Harare teams .The BP cup final which shabanie won through a Thomas Makwasha goal ,was one of the best games I witnessed andthe 4-0 massacre of caps Utd at Maglas stadium .Waal I really miss those good old days when football was a joy to watch in our beloved country
Was there when Shabanie had its first Premier league match against DeMbare. The stadium was packed to the brim, the atmosphere was electric and for sure Gweje Gweje was really enterprising. I was so hurt when DeMbare lost and had a long trip back to Shurugwi. Those were the days when one would travel from town to town just to watch soccer.

Good suggestions from former players regarding football developmeht at early ages but I think they should take the initiative start their own junior leagues rather than dwelling on the crumbling ZIFA sytems.
