@ohhgreatone I think that's Erica's own voice you can hear, it happens quite a lot on old Prisoner episodes - the sound 'bleeds' on the old analogue tapes, not sure of the technical term for it. Sometimes you can hear voices echoing *before* the actual speaking.
Whilst I fully understood where the women were coming from I always felt sorry for poor old Agnes. Age was clearly starting to catch up with the poor women. Cant help but agree with Fletch on this one
Kev L - I don't disagree with in you in the least, but I just felt a bit sorry for her. These days we would say she probably has the onset of Alzheimer's and would hopefully be just a bit nicer with her - maybe not the women, but certainly Erica (and it REALLY pains may to criticise Davo!)
@@derekhorne8076 Erica was perhaps next more reasonable to her after Jim. What are you talking about? The only time we saw her really frustrated with Agnes was the phone conversation they had and even then she was keeping herself together from spazzing entirely. Erica was as nice as she needed to be!
@devontehuntley6274. Erica is my favourite character so I'm not attacking her and there's no need this to defend her come after me! I agree she was quite nice with her, I just felt at the end, she could have perhaps been a bit more understanding. That said, Eric, as always, was the meat in the sandwich between Agnes and Jim on one side and Bea, the women and the other officers on the other hand. I don't think she was horrible to Agnes at any point.
@@derekhorne8076 Well she was understanding. She had a very genuine talk with Agnes as the latter was packing up her stuff and ready to leave once turning in her own resignation. Erica rather felt bad it wasn't working out. Luckily it was Agnes who knew this for herself to want to leave in the end rather than Erica giving her the sack. Overall, you were over here making it seem Erica was just harsh on her like Bea, Doreen, Lizzie, and Meg were (and rightfully so on their end) and Jim was the only nice one from beginning to end. NOT! And giving Agnes' old age and her own mental problems that was probably addressed by others before coming to Wentworth, she should have long known she couldn't keep up with this job anymore and should have been retired and saved everyone the irritation. She rather gets little sympathy for me. And as Lizzie and Bea pointed out, she'd rather take care of her cat than the actual people she was tasked to work with in a PRISON at that which requires a great deal of concentration and work ethics. Why not just be a cat caretaker then or again, JUST RETIRE AND STAY OUT OF EVERYONE'S HAIR?

“What bloody baby?” 😂 Comedy Gold!!!
Nat Elliott-Ross Queen Agnes lol
I love Agnes Forster. She has provided me with many laughs. 'Dolly not Doreen' springs to mind
Ettie parslow smoking dope was funny too.
"yes THAT Mrs Davidson!"- Erica Davidson
Having worked with social workers, here in the UK, I can confirm that the one here is performing a little above average! ;)
6:40......I love that scene. Erica's frustration!
I loved the Agnes/Ettie episodes. Lois Ramsey was a great comedy performer
i'm american and maybe it's just me but these actors sound alot more british to me than australians generally do now.
This was actually a sad and tragic story. Watch Lizzie's reactions: what acting.
The cat would have been a better social worker than that women.
Love Beatrice and Mrs Foster. Cracked me right up.
LOL I loved her, although I preferred her as Ettie in later episodes. Absolutely hysterical
Lois Ramsay did a WONDERFUL job as Ettie Parslow. :) She was BETTER as Ettie than she was as Agnes.
I agree, def funnier as ettie
Wasn`t she in an Australian film call The Road to Nhill years ago, I saw it when I was in Australia once
"What abloody baby?"
Agnes is hilarious!
I loved her as, Ettie too
its like talking to someone who works at telstra

It's Ettie Parslow - Jenny Eclair's mother!
Brilliant.
What episode is this scene from? Love the cat and Dolly.
Lol @ the scared cat @ 2:25 over the old lady fight.
Etttie Parslow!! Well at least she was in later episodes, Agnes Forster here?
If you listen carefully, while Erica Davidson is on the phone you hear her lines repeated to her before she speaks the actual words. :-)
ohhgreatone just noticed that lol.
@@michelledavidson8190 It's known as 'pre echo', Michelle.
Queen Agnes

She was incompetent. The woman had every right to be pissed off with her.

Yes as Ettie Parslow.
thats the tech term, sound bleed. It is sometimes frustrating. But it shows its age.
Queen Agnes LOL
I saw a young women called Dolly!.
When Bradman was a boy lol.
Doesn't she re-appear as a prisoner later on in the series?
Yep. She later became Ettie Parslow
LIZZIE
