Why not make a whole sketch set since a sketch is so easy to make a elementary kid in art class can do it
There is only one artist per sketch card. Thats what makes them unique. No one artist drew the same character. I got The Black Panther as one sketch card. Pretty cool

I bought 2 boxes. I opened one and another is on the way. You cant find these anywhere!!! They sold out real quick!!! Also youre very lucky you got Carnage 1/1. Hes my favorite Spider-Man bad guy!
This video brought back lot of good memories from the 90’s.
The best one is when I found a Buscema Silver Surfer sketched card.
I want to dig my old sets out I look at them now.

They are expensive only because of who his parents are. His parents did the 1996 masterpieces, which is arguably the most valuable and sought after marvel set. I have so many sets from the 90's up to maybe 2016.

nice cards , i don't think they needed to be on super thick card stock.at least you didn't get any duplicates.it is a little pricey but still nice cards .with all the parallel cards it will be next to impossible to make a set. good luck to anyone that tries. everyone take care and have a nice day.

Cards aren't really my thing, but I love the art on some of those. I like that Juggernaut especially.
You want to look for any base (what if etc) numbered 82-90 those are rare and $$.

I buy Bowman Sterling $320.00 a box 5pks 5cards in each pak. I bought this new box of cards that came out 2020 Bowman 1st Edition that was $750.00 not to bad 24pks 10cards in a pk. Topps Finest is another one i buy those are $240.00 a box 12pk 5 cards each pk. Topps Tribute $399.00 a box 6pks 3cards each pk. The most expensive box i ever bought was back in 2018 Panini National Treasures Football $2,999.95 a box 1pk 8cards carzy right lol!! The cards that look like comic book covers are parallels of the originals called the “ what if”… like the series of comic books in marvel obviously called white earth. It’s like a what if this art was the cover of an actual comic this is what it would look like, sort of thing. It’s just a subset of the original cards and then there’s also the gold signatures that are not numbered that are as well just a subset of a subset and has his signature on them. Some of them are very sought after and really rare, but the numbering is not technically on the card you have to do math in order to figure out how many of them are out there. There are also actual signatures of his on the card in silver ink that is on card, and they are numbered to 10, and are stupid rare obviously, and are worth, depending on character, up to like $10,000
That carnage sketch is cool. Probably the best sketch I've seen watching openings online
I just watched a bunch after this to see if I wanted one for my birthday. And I agree, this is the best sketch...... which is frankly sad.

This recaptures the nostalgia of opening Marvel Masterpieces and Fleer Ultra X-men in the 1990s. Collecting the set is going to be impossible. I recently bought a box of tmnt, got the whole set, and they were on the same thick card stock.

Nice collection. I like the Mysterio card it could've been an actual comic art cover next to the Dr. Strange card, also like the Sentinel card, Dr. Strange card, Daredevil card looks clean and nice, Ghost-Spider card looks nice, two Hulk cards looks nice as well and the Carnage sketch card which looks to be a puzzled card but you mentioned it's only (1 of 1) to match with other sketch cards to collect like the early '90's Marvel Universe series cards especially the style the Carnage is drawn on that card it has that '90's look to it which looks cool. Cool review.

Those are going to be worth a lot some day too day your opening them....just kidding hehe Thats awesome they are rebooting those cards. They were my favorite out of all the Marvel Trading Cards in the 90's. Nice.

I think it’s called “parallel sets” Gary... for example there may be a gold, a silver, a red, a purple of the same card, just different rarities.

Those cards look really high quality but please don't even get me started. I think I have the original Marvel masterpiece cards stashed away somewhere.
Nice but Wayyyyyy too expensive to get hooked collecting. I would think collectors will be limited but we'll see.
Man I really wanted to get into these. The art is great! I think there are to many subsets and the price is ridiculous. I feel like alot of people won't get into it because of how expensive they are plus only 3 cards per pack. Seems like a rip off for something I really wanted to like. It's what got me into comics.

Cards look thick
I'd love to get back into card collecting but they've really priced people out of it. You'll have to spend min $1k just to get a base set and only the super rare chase cards retain their value. It's like they make these sets for eBay now and not for collectors. Beautiful cards though.

I've got some Walking Dead and Star Wars sketch cards, and in comparison the one you found seems lesser :-( With how bonkers good the rest of the art in that box is, I'm sorry for that one (even though you couldn't have asked for a better character as far as desirability)
