I purchased the Josephine and Speakeasy full size (12 oz) candles, and the Ellington travel candle (4 oz). The 12 oz burn time is 80 hours, the 4 oz burn time is 20 hours. I also purchased two packs of the deluxe matchsticks. The scent notes, prices and links for each candle and matchbook are listed below.

Love Harlem Candle Co! I purchased 2 scents, Josephine & Lady Day on Juneteenth of this year. Best investments I’ve ever made for home space home scents. All I want from a candle review is this!! I love the way you describe scents, it takes me right next to you like I’m smelling it. When people say they are bad at describing scents I’m always confused. Tell me what is feels like, what it reminds you. It’s always a plus if one can identify the separate notes. Josephine was my first Harlem Candle. Smells sultry, seductive and mature. My faves are Lenox, Savoy and my FAVE fave, Lady Day. Speakeasy is growing on me.
Lady Day is a GORGEOUS scent, and I love Savoy, too. Lenox grew on me, especially in candle form. Harlem Candle Company really brings their A game with each scent!

Just watched your video and I have to say you helped me to make up my mind as to which scent will be my first purchase. My choices were, Ellington, Savoy, or Langston. Even though you didn't review this candle, I decided on the Langston. About to make the purchase after I send this. Thanks for the video!!

@@southernrosetiadee, my first purchase of the Langston came. All I can say is, "OMG!!" When the scent hit my nose it was sheer bliss. I started thinking about some of nice jazz songs that would possibly be featured at the Savoy. The one song that came to mind even though this song was no where near that era was "Sometimes I Wonder Why" by Anita Baker. It just has that certain elegance that I vision the Savoy having in it's prime. You are my new cyber BFF,lol. Anyway, please keep those reviews coming and I'm getting ready to make another purchase and spread word about the Harlem Candle Co.

Okay. I brought the Speakeasy and Josephine candles. The Speakeasy was trash. Total waste of money. I barely could smell it. After several burns, I gave up.
When I first burned Josephine, I was not happy. However, after the third burn, I felt better about the purchase. I was able to smell the throw, very soft, floral bedroom scent.
Would purchase from the Harlem Candle Company again? No. I had better success with Bath and Body Works. For a luxury company, I just expected more.
Oh no! I hate that you had that experience. One thing immediately came to mind: quality control. I wonder if the ones you got had different proportions of essential oils than the ones I bought. It’s far too common for smaller brands to become inconsistent between batches. Here’s hoping that they’ll improve going forward 🤞🏾I’d also let the company know that the scent is weaker than expected.

The candle care instructions included with each candle details that wick trimming is recommended. I have several wick trimmers in my personal collection.
