Finally, i've found this recipe, my childhood memories of our barrio in sorsogon.
Its being steamed in firewoods/ panggatong na kahoy in a large empty can of oil, with 4 holes on top ,where they cook the puto in coconut shell and with kunserba filling.
Its so yummy.
But this time, no one is cooking this anymore in our place, in a traditional method.
I've been looking for a recipe,similar to that.

Probably, i will use the store bought rice flour. I hope it will have the same taste,atleast.

Hindi po maganda ang results ng ginawa ko using Rice Flour, antigas po.
Ibig sabihin hindi nga ata tlg pwd ang flour dapat bigas tlg na ibinabad just like this recipe ni Mam.
Or dapat haluan ng mashed kamote ang rice flour.
Different recipes fail ako. Yun iba is making a batter, super lambot. Meron naman may sugar so very watery. I am dying to make one. I'llbe trying this today. @julietbertez12
@@TheCountryHomestead Mam, my rice flour Puto bicol recipe was a failure 😍, huh I've cooked at inlaws house , asking what im doin, then when they saw the output, and touched the puto, it was hard , even it just came out from steamer, hahahaha.
Don't know if it's over cooked, or maybe I should have added mashed sweet potato just like what im doin in my buchi recipe.

Yesss its really good..but i suggest you use a molder with a hole on the middle....you can also use mini coconut shell with hole...

Hi the texture of this is not as fine as rice flour...so i suggest to use the rice then blend it so you'll get the right consistency and texture that needed..

@@jiskitchen7577 Ginawa ko po agad sya after ko magiling yung rice .. yung molder ko po is yung puto molder lang na aluminum .. failed po talaga eh as in mag 1 hour ko na po na steam powder pa rin po yung bigas 😔
