Laex!!!! I needed this script last night 🤣 🤣 🤣 I managed to do it a different way....but now I'm gonna go back in and change it to this way as it a lot more efficient 😉 Tell me though....If I want the hider to move over time to the next destination and rotate towards the next location would I use look at?
Amazing Tutorial - thanks for sharing! Would it make sense to add an IF length of list = 0 to re-add positions to the random list when the hide event is received? In the application I'm thinking is when player grabs "obj" (the cell phone in your example), send hide to control with x delay which will spawn it into another random location. The more I think about that, if only one "obj" is sending that event at a time, it could be possible to have 2 objects at the same location IF the lists are reset once they reach 0. Is there a better way to handle that?
You’re on the right track, I was definitely thinking there was a way we could modify this to make it better, but didn’t want to over complicate what was meant to help relatively newer users get started doing random positions :-) What you might consider doing is having a second list that tracks the currently occupied positions, that way when you’re adding the positions back, you could remove those positions from the list, and then remove the position from the occupied list as they are picked up :)
This is a great technique. You went to a Console screen to STOP the world and reset it. How did you get to that screen? You also "SNAPPED" the sound recorder to make it the same size as the cell phone. Where is that button? Sorry for the basic questions, I am a beginner and many of the features you are showing I can't find on my menus.
Thanks for asking! I invite you to ask this question on our Discord, there are some fantastic creators there that can help answer and sometimes even join you in build mode :) discord.gg/v6hcQ9DtDv We also have a "Building 101" video on the channel that shows these concepts too, but learning in person can be much easier. :)
Thanks for asking, I’d encourage you to join our discord server where we have many creators who can help answer questions like this, and it is even a place where you can promote your worlds :) discord.gg/v6hcQ9DtDv But yes, you definitely can, you would need to have the objects listen to the trigger on world start, and move the current world start codeblocks into trigger enter. :) *I think someone might have posted more details on this in the discord already, but feel free to ask there if you’re having any trouble :)
You should stop by sometime, the community is thriving, as Vidyuu we just completed a really awesome multi part experience that was sponsored by 10 brands and a marketing firm! Through that we paid 35 creators to work on that project, not to mention our zombie game that had another 30 creators working on it! I know it might seem like a small community, but the people here are doing big things! Personally, I am so excited for the future of all meta-verse apps, and how they will connect together, :-)
Using a sound recorder is freakin' brilliant!
I feel as though I bullied you into this video 😭😭 but love it!
XD tbh I’m working to get back to regularly scheduled videos, but the bullying does help 🥲🤣🫣🤣

Great question, you’d actually just use the move and rotate over time codeblocks, just below where we got the instant variants :)

This Is Amazing 😍 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 WawawawaONETime
Is there a way to use this so it works with a trigger instead of when the world is started?
