I’m size small … 38 bust would I make this size !? What yarn can I use and hook?

    • @mellinsomnia1

Hi there. I would use the same size yarn (this one is 3 or 4 weight, it's suitable for 3mm hooks) but would decrease the number of waves by one.

    I would need thicker straps.

Yes, I will make a video for thicker straps. Or you can just add a few more rows of single crochet until you are satisfied with the thickness. 😊

How how many stitches for a large extra large

That's a very good question. This is for size M/L (slightly bigger that I thought it would be). I should definitely include sizing next time. I am not really an experienced crocheter/knitter, I mostly like to come up with different designs. The way I measured it was that I started with the regular chain and placed it over my body to see if it needs to be longer. One thing to bear in mind is that the yarn will always have a bit of a stretch and it will be bigger in the end so make a starting chain slightly smaller than your actual bust/waist measurements (my measurements are bust 96cm, waist 75cm, shoulder 38cm). So I made it a bit smaller, about 3-4cm because I wanted it to have a grip on my body and to drape nicely without being too loose. Also the length depends on your preference and torso.
