- The @giroditalia evokes an indescribable vibe that words fail to capture. You eagerly await its arrival, but as the day approaches, you almost start to overlook it.
When the day finally arrives, anticipation mixes with stress: when to leave home, how to navigate road closures, and the disappointment of finding your planned viewing spot already crowded, forcing you to change your plans.
Then, suddenly, the sound of a helicopter fills the air, signaling the moment. The cyclists appear, their lean bodies and weary faces revealing the toll of their efforts. Some fix their gaze on the handlebars, sweat dripping onto the ground, while others look straight ahead. None of them glance upward to admire the majestic peaks of the Dolomites that provide a breathtaking backdrop to this moment. For them, it's just another challenging climb, knowing from experience that the road will soon be claimed by the enthusiastic "tifosi" crowd.
These fleeting minutes feel like being in a suspended state, where even if someone were to film you, you wouldn't recognize yourself. And just like that, they're gone, and it's time to return to the demands of everyday life.

L'intera discesa dal rifugio di Valparola al bivio Capanna Alpina affrontata a velocità pazzesca (con punte superiori a 90 kmh) e filmata integralmente! Non ci poteva essere occasione migliore di una splendida giornata e di una strada pressoché deserta per il passaggio del Giro. Complimenti!
Non riuscivo ad andare di piú, c'era una leggera brezza contraria 😁😂 ... e poi é periodo di marmotte che ti attraversano la strada a sorpresa.

Hello Igor, I watched this stage on TV... uphill is from Passo Valparola and downhill? I don't known. Otherwise, your downhill home, it was crazy :)
The pro's went up from Alta Badia to Valparola side, down the Falzarego -> Andraz side
