i used to read 50 to 60 pages a day. but now i realize its getting easier and quicker for me to read 100 to 120 pages a day. happy about it though. as always love the thumbnail. can't say it enough. and your sticker collections aaaaa makes me happy. 💚

so happy to see you liked the poppy war, even if it wasn't for you:') it's my favourite book of all time (and by that i mean i have no coherent thoughts, i'm simply insane about it). i did my mandatory bookclub reread last week and it was as painful as i remembered it ✨ *sobs*
if you decide to continue the trilogy, the next 2 books are far less brutal, like they're still dark and everything keeps going downhill but it doesn't get any more graphic or grim than what you've already read

I have to make a bunch of origami butterflies for our school library decor, and this video is just the perfect video to watch while I do that! 😍 I am really interested in reading The Poppy War as well, but everyone says they were emotionally destroyed afterward, and I don't think I'm ready for that 😢

looved Wild is the Witch! i've been reading 100 pages a day for the past couple years, but when i'm going through it, that's a different story loll i only miss a couple times a month so it's a good habit to have for sure!
This video genuinely motivated me to read more again! Lately, it's been kind of difficult for me to sit down and read. Once I am reading I'm enjoying my time but sometimes it's just a little hard to make myself sit down and actually start reading lately. In August I read 39 pages per day on average meanwhile in May for example I read 61 pages per day on average. While I can't read 150+ pages every day because I'm a slow reader (it would take me like 5 hours to read that many pages) this video did motivate me to try and read more again! ☺

It makes me feel so much better to know someone else feels the exact same about Poppy War. It was SO hard for me to read and I had to recently unhaul it because Theres no point forcing.. its not my type of fantasy. Its just so loved that I feel bad BC I felt dumb reading it and can barely remember anything a year later

It’s taken me a good 10 months to move on to the second book in the poppy war series because of how real and raw the first one felt and it definitely took a mental toll on me. I did enjoy her writing and the world building!

i'm not a fast reader really, i'd say i can read like 50 pages an hour? but i tend to read it spurts so reading 150 pages every single day was a lot for me😅

A fun challenge to do. I usually try to read a 100 pages a day for myself. I am planning to check out Jennifer Lynn Barnes other series since I am enjoying her writing style so much ^_^. I am planning to finish a few series soon the Caraval series, on the last book of A Good Girl's Guide to Murder series, and The Infernal Devices. Glad to see you are enjoying reading again. ^_^ Cheers to the fall season! I have been reading mystery/thrillers pretty much all month except for ACOMAF, lol.
I have so many books on my physical TBR and the challenge tends to be which one so I end up starting and maintaining 4 or more that I switch between 📖🧙♀️🧚♂️🌙

One thing is I need to know where you got your bullet journal for the books you plan on reading and finished reading. Im starting college and I am in need of one!
My 1st Alice Oseman book was I Was Born For This...the pace was so slow, while I got to a decent page count...I DNF'd it at some point. It lost me along the way.
On the other hand: I binged Heartstopper, it's beautifully set up

I read between 50-100 pages a day If I read that day but it also depends on how I feel on that day If I'm really in a reading mood. Like yesterday I just read non stop and finished two books and almost finished fourth wing. I have about 100 pages left. (I did stay up to 3am reading it though.)
Have you watched hannibal (nbc)?? The way you talked about the naturals reminded me of it (although hannibal is quite dark!)

Okay ik she might not see this but I HIGHLY recommend "turtles all the way down" by John Green. It's a turning of age story, with romance, and the main character deals with mental health problems and the way it is described is so well done. It's so good at the sad parts and good at the happy parts. Idc who sees this but this book was 5/5 for me and that doesn't happen a lot.
Definitely a great book, read it years ago.

I'm a huge fan of your channel but to be honest I don't have a lot of friends who read so I was wondering where umdo your reading sprints before I started watching your channel I didn't even know it was a thing 😂
How or where do you get the little book covers?
I wish there was an easier way to figure out how many pages when you listen to audio books. Teaching starts again Friday for me and I do about an hour of an audiobook each day but unless I have the physical book and am going along with it I can't tell how many pages.

I'm finding the same thing myself about grim-dark. I thought it was my genre for the longest time but honestly, I just want to have a good time with my fantasy and grim-dark just doesn't do that for me.
If anyone's reading this and loved The Naturals or the premise: please read Ellie Marney's None Shall Sleep series!! It's set in the 1980s and has teens working for the FBIs behavioural science/ serial killer unit. There's two books out but a third isn't guaranteed but if it blows up it would be amazingggg
