Love the Smurf 🤟, I have a 2013 FJ with 33” no chop needed at all, she’s done Big Red, Birdsville and the Snowy Mountain Hwy from Tumut all the way to East Gippsland and across to SA. No issues.
The Smurf has done the Simpson Desert2 times Birdsville 3 times and lots in the high country down here in Victoria Fj just goes everywhere you point it .😃😆👍
Nice one. My favourite colour on the FJ. ❤️ I agree with you, it's a keeper. 👍 Prices for them will just continue to go up, I think. I want one and have been monitoring their prices since 2019. Then COVID hit, and now their prices are about $15-20k more. I hope after COVID dies down a bit, prices will settle down and that's when I'll get mine.
@@eds4wdcamping Hi, as a fellow Victorian, not sure if you are aware that Statewide 4x4 in Victoria do GVM upgrades. My GVM upgrade was done by Extreme 4x4 I had Ironman Foamcell Pro shocks and springs rated a a constant 3000kg. I have the full wrap around bullbar by TJM as I travel from Victoria to Sydney and I can assure you that there is a lot of wildlife along the side of the road. I have set mine up for touring and off road as well. Spent many years in the transport industry I'm fully aware of the GVM probably more than most people . This comment is not a criticism just a comment on what upgrade I did.

I found this guy on the FJ form some years ago can I have a look at the form he may still be there and they're made out of paracord and by memory, they didn't cost that much to be sent to me here in Australia thanks for watching I'll see you in the next video
Nice video! We are looking at buying an FJ. It’s hard to find reliable figures on fuel consumption. What kind of figures do you get when not towing? Cheers.
If you going to buy one based on the fuel economy don't on a good day with a tailwind going downhill 11.9 lt per 100 but normally 12.9 to 14.0 per 100 km on the way mine is setup.😃

The mount is from RAM it does move but you move with it so not that bad looking forward to seeing the Ranger.👍
