    Good idea Ed. This would be especially useful in the higher climates I expect.

    Hi Ed … We have a new Dometic 3 burner and have the same complaint … takes forever to boil the Billy. Would love to try your fix. Wondering if you would be able to provide the part description/link for the jets you purchased from Amazon. Many thanks!!

    So, what was the issue with the old jet? Was it clogged or the wrong size? Could you have simply cleaned the old one and rectified the problem. It's nice to know what the original problem was don't you think?

    • @eds4wdcamping
      @eds4wdcamping  6 месяцев назад

      I did explain the original problem with the gas. The jets at the beginning of the video have low flow, and it takes forever just to boil some water, so that is why I changed the jets. Thank you for your comment.

  • @davidmilledge221

    Bigger jets nice but remember will use more gas tho but then again boiling a kettle quicker mabe not ?

    • @eds4wdcamping
      @eds4wdcamping  4 месяца назад +2

      The gas jets on the camper were absolutely useless. This is probably the best mod I did for the camper so far yeah might use a little bit more gas but the end the day quicker is better

      @@eds4wdcampingagreed I had a 30 ft rv. Well it unknowingly started rotting from the inside. So I just gutted it and took everything out of it. Then made a little cabin to live in. And put all the stuff from the rv in it. Also made a trailer out of the frame of the rv. I got another trailer, put two horizontal 100 lbs propane tanks on it, so I can just take ‘em to get refilled and hard line connect em to the connections 30 meters away from the house.

    You could of saved yourself a few more bucks by drilling them out instead. a 1mm drill bit would of done the trick ✌
