I would recommend project based approach on basic Deep learning models ( CNN/RNN/FNN) and then advance deep learning module like Generative AI or LLM or Transformers or Chat GPT or general Computer vision and NLP based applications

Python course for DA and regular Python course are separate. Python for Data Science will be taught by Jay and regular python course will be taught by ME

It takes at least 6 to 8 months time to cover the syllabus. Maths in GATE CSE and GATE DA are different. GATE DA has more maths syllabus and it doesnt make any sense to skip maths

Spend 4 to 5 hr every day and you should target to complete the syllabus by July 2024 so that you have 6 months for revision and practice.

I can't imagine the how mathematically intense the Gate paper will be for DS and AI.
Just focus on learning without thinking about anything else so that you can face the paper well irrespective of difficulty level
