Update... After starting the season 12-24, the Astros are 76-65 with 21 games to go. If they finish 14-7, which is very likely, they will end the season at 90-72. The Astros are 5.5 games behind the Orioles for best record in the AL and 9 games behind the Phillies for the best record in MLB. The Astros are also 4.5 games ahead of Seattle in the AL West and 5 games behind Cleveland for the number two seed. That is an amazing season.
This has a similar feel, albeit very different record, going into October 2024 vs October 2022. I don't think the Astros had a real advantage last year (2023) after the rule changes, but after a rough start, I think it is pretty obvious that our pitching has head & shoulders leveled up versus the rest of the league like they did in 2022. I don't think we have seen our last Astros no hit bid in 2024.

I was sitting above the bullpen tonight and the first shot went so high, it was still going up when it left the field. The second one was a piss missile that looked like it was coming straight at me for the first 300 feet lol. Tuve w 3 hits, Mo with 3 hits, Framber being dominant af 😮💨 What a game 🫡
In hindsight Singleton getting hosed at home didnt end up mattering but damn i give him props because he made it close. Mind you he went first to home on that so he had some hustle to make it that close
