We use soft water, that is not borwell water, hence there is no scaling and cleaning insides is not a problem. When packing it back after using it for 4 months, it will be good to put a few drops of lubricating oil located on the fan motor top. Two small holes with covers are provided at the bearing ends. Earlier, I maintained a desert cooler for 12 years without a breakdown and efficient running, though a different model with straw as the cooling pads.

Bajaj ki kwality pichle kai salon se kharab hoti ja rahi hai, cooler ki motor life 2 saal se jyada nahi hai, moter aluminium ki hai. I recommend only heavy motor cooy , which has long life and worth.
