Take a look inside what I call my "Chest of Doom"! My yarn stash is really a complete disaster, also, embarassing!! I'm going to organize most of my yarn in this video, there's no special system that I'm using to organize it, I'm simply moving it to a shelf where I can see everything (almost everything) that I have. I was having a hard time knowing what I had/didn't have when it was in the chest, so hopefully having it this way is helpful.

My yarn has exploded over my entire house and isn't just contained to a chest 😂 If it makes you feel any better, mine is exactly the same - tangled mess, half finished projects, random crap with some thread I'm NEVER going to use but hang onto anyway because I'm a hoarder 😂😂😂 I'm forever tripping over bags of my crap around the house so I may even pick a corner to organise after watching this!

😂 I love the honesty! My house was the same way! It gets like that a lot because I like to crochet in different rooms and different chairs and make something different after I’ve finished 4 rows lol.
I’m a hoarder too with yarn just because I feel guilty if I throw it out and don’t feel like there’s enough of 1 color to sell! I did see your scrap yarn blanket & I’m thinking about making it just so I can get rid of my odds & ends!
Also, on the hoarder bit, I’m pretty sure 95% of people who crochet hoard yarn and yarn projects. The other 5% are over achievers and also Unicorns. I’ve only heard of them, but never actually seen one in person! 😂
