The pink sand is actually crushed shells. Next travel across the island and see all the different coasts and mountain areas. We have lived in Crete for 12 years and every year we travel around the island to visit different areas, we live in the East of Crete which is less touristy ❤️
All the beaches were so beautiful. Looked a little cold but you two are always so brave and adventurist What a long travel trip to get to your destination. It’s really great to see your parents visit. Live to see chads parents on vaca with you guys too Thank you for a great video. You two always put out great videos ❤️🌞
I like this video because it is impossible not to like such an island with so many beautiful beaches and eye catching mountains. I agree with Claire to rent cars with automatic transmission, especially if the roads are winding and increasing in elevation. The meals that were prepared by Clair and her mother looked very delicious. The snorkeling was very exciting and looked like a whole bunch of fun!
Chad and Claire, 👨👸🌹 Thanks guy's for sharing your cool videos Greece. I love Greece 💖and your channel. 💖 Glad your have fun in Greece. Chad 👨remember Claire 👸🌹 the boss! Cheers 🍦🍦🧔
Looks great, im going to visit chania this week. my second time in crete but this time as an adult. Gyros will be the main dish but i will try out the funkys aswell. might rent car to go to elafonissi beach one day. you two have great energy in videos, keep it up! greeting from norway
This brings a tear to my eye, I studied at the technical university in Chania for 5 years and I miss it so much! Also, I basically lived off funky's pizza and crepes lol
Nice videos! Tsikoudia or also known as Raki, is wice distilled from grapes, unlike Ouzo. Crete doesn't add anise to their Tsikoudia or Raki like they do in other parts of Greece which provides the licorice like flavor and which turns milky when it comes in contact with water/ice.
hi guys, we live in crete not too far from chania. this was a really nice little video so thank you. i can send this to my sister in uk cos shes coming out in october to visit and she has 2 little ones. i wanted to show her balos cos the water is really shallow. dont know if youre still here but if you are i can highly recommend TAMAM for food in the old town. anyway safe travels and best wishes from crete
Greece looks stunning, can’t wait to go there one day! We have done a lot of domestic travels but hope to travel internationally as much as you two one day! Keep the adventures coming! :)
Great video! I am really happy you enjoyed my hometown. The next time you visit, take the day cruise to Balos, it will be more relaxing and you will also make a stop on the Island of Gramvousa,it has an amazing Venetian fortress which was also used by Pirate Barbarossa as a hideout!
I’d be filling my rental car with cats and goats, but that’s just me. What month of the year is this video? We want to go for the beaches and swim in warm water, but you mentioned it was chilly. We are planning a trip for May.
Loving the Greece videos!

Beautiful beaches but the water looks cold. You guys was so brave to swim 🤣👍
Crete looks beautiful! I think the shot you got was Ouzo, which is a very traditional Greek drink haha.
No it was Tsikoudia , traditional in Crete .

@@CreteRulz2010 There is ouzo with or without anise.
