Thanks Philip for the weather forecast. It seems we are in the Spring equinox, with high winds. My beautiful Plum tree blew down and it was a prolific fruiter that was shared around the neighborhood. My Tree will be sadly missed, but I've taken cuttings, so hopefully they will strike. People think Wellington is windy, but Palmerton North is on a par with Wellington for wind, as I have lived in both places and I honestly think both Cities are as bad as each other. 😅
Oh no! Sorry to hear that - we had one that also blew down (they are notorious for hating wind!) and it kept growing broken sideways :) Good luck with the cuttings. Phil.
Although other areas have been very wet around NZ...Im sick to death of this crap Spring weather in the Waikato. Front after front after front after cold wet blustery front....ad nauseum ad infinitum. Empathy to those in other very wet areas.
This week’s forecast weather is reminiscent of the colder conditions seen throughout last month and winter, and thank you Phil.
We had strong winds from the S W today . NW yesterday gales in Christchurch Central. I hope tourists are prepared for our Spring Weather .
Thank you for the update, see you Friday. Take care and be safe.
Can you also include the winds and wave forecasts? Thanks
Cheers for the update and have a good one!🍻

Heading up the coast from Alexandra next Wednesday for the week, fingers gently crossed for some sun.
Be quacking like a duck soon down on the west coast😂😂😂
@@RaymondSwift-p8u Yes I am on the west coast on the North Island and honestly I am a wind blown Duck...lol..
it sure has and is a crappy wet spring .
The nice days have avtually been quite warm though
Thanks for sun x2
Where were these cold weather patterns during the winter when Ruapehu needed snow!
I think since we most likely won't get strong la Nina this summer, New Zealand's west coast will have many more showers than normal.

If you ever think it's wet in the Waikato, just think about what the West Coast of the south island has to go through all year long 😂
Will the spring pattern continue in summer
@@gordonsargon9167 Cross fingers not...
