For example, you can't just take the function 1/x and plug in infinity because infinity isn't actually a number, but with a limit you can say "Well, as x *approaches* infinity, 1/x approaches 0." It might seem weird to say something happens "at infinity" when you can't actually get there, but it's totally valid. No, you get more points if you get the answer right when you pick the category in the Switchagories mode.
Ditto with thinking it's the fastest to answer who gets the bonus because every time they play that game they skip the "If you answer correctly in the category you picked, you score bonus points!' dialogue.
Actually, the games are the same. It just alternates rounds 2 and 4 between regular and blitz. Blitz is when everyone goes, the other game will be one at a time.
Yea but it's also dumb ass trivial pursuit so why would they know that shit lol
I really love the trivial pursuit series
The fact that neither of them have heard of the term "The New World" is just on another level. I know it's been literal years since either of them have been in school but that isn't an obscure term or anything.
As a huge fan of TMBG, I appreciate the reference to their song about Istanbul. I was wondering how far they'd take it and was not disappointed
Yasssss more of this!
I love watching them show their smarts.
10:08 As an Argentinian viewer, I'm pleased to see two soccer players (from my country) in that category
24:18 As an Argentinian viewer, ( *in Dan's voice* ) Arin...
"Trivial Pursuit 3: The Other Rematch!"
For those of you wondering, the book Arin mentions at 6:30 is an amazing, amazing book. 10/10 recommend.
22:25
YEW WANNA COME OVER TO MY HEE-AUSE AND DO
*poopy*
The year is 3400, Game Grumps have gone beyond Game Gramps and are now brains in jars playing video games for our entertainment.
The video is Trivial Pursuit Live episode 2,515.
The Grumps still don't know how the bonus points work in Switchagories.
1:03 - Well, you've got me there.
Arin seems a LOT happier these last few uploads and I hope it’s true. THANK YOU ARIN FOR CREATING A NERD GROUP SO MASSIVE
It'll be okay Ben. ❤
27:18 Dan: man it really is such a crap shoot of what random shit do you know!
me:...uhhh its a trivia game
Beautiful, beautiful entertainment. Glorious content in this trying time.
Thanks for the laughs, boys.🙂
Moreeeee please yay! Also the one when you take turns picking a category and get bonus points its that if you picked the category and get it right you get bonus points.
"what's the New world?"
Spoken like a true American
To Arin Hanson of Game Grumps: The Cilia is the hair inside of the nose and trachea along the respiratory track which helps push back foreign substances by becoming irritated, causing sneezes and/or coughs. They are not in the lungs.
graphite (iirc) has the same root as graffiti, a greek word that means "to write"
ah thank you i was just wondering about that
Thanks for going the extra mile to save our sanity in our time of need. You two and your crew are True American Heroes!!!
Arin: "I thought Vatican City had a river."
Ah yes, that good old landlocked Vatican river.
You can be landlocked and still have a river
Honestly I saw Vatican and read it as Venetian
All rivers are landlocked. Otherwise it’s just the ocean
Dan choosing something that’s CLEARLY factually wrong instead of “1=0.999999999...” had me livid. I can understand not knowing that many maths equations but choosing the wrong version of the thing you JUST got right and skipping over 1=1 is mind-blowing. Great vid guys!
They've never heard the term "New World" before? What?
“Back to the future? Time is literally in the title! Ha!”
As they pick a move called “In Time” 😂😂😂
