That was close. Tough break for Alirez.

Can’t wait to see Alirez and Mendez next year.

I think Bartlett beats everybody next year. Another year in the Penn State room after falling shorts by an inch the last two Will be a Lot of motivation.

@@joef3423that should’ve been the case the last 2 years but it wasn’t. Can’t see Bartlett beating Alirez or Mendez especially when he’s gonna be afraid to take shots

Well with just one Little adjustment to block that gramby roll at the end of the match AND he wins the tourny. Credit to Méndez for winning it but with just some Small adjustments Bartlett wins it. Maybe he needs to open up His matches early instead of waiting to Score late.
When you think about something like that, that happens to you every Little work out you Will give just a Little More.

@@joef3423 Sounds a lot like you're discrediting him. Lots of ifs, but Barlett is the inferior guy and he's going out in the Semis.

Semi finals should be best of 3 or first round pin/tech.

Nick Lee is awesome. Such a great, humble competitor. It was just Zain's time this year. I bet he'll be our rep moving forward. Yianni has kind of fallen off

Why no takedown points for Lee at 1:16?

just before he went behind, he rolled alirez through which kinda counts as a takedown either way. freestyle is weird

You can’t score a takedown after scoring exposure points. Which I agree is weird.

5:44 was somehow a successful move for Nick Lee. Crazy. Fans can’t get behind this nonsense scoring system. Embarrassing for the sport

Tough scoring action for Alirez in that spot. He initiated and finished the takedown and came out 2 pts short in that action. Great example of the need to keep hips down.
