I agree. Seeing the talent and numbers just doesn't justify going from 10 to 6 for Olympic wrestling. Unfortunately, some very deserving wrestlers either have to cut weight or gain weight to compete. That being said, 6 great wrestlers earned the opportunity to compete for the USA. I'll be cheering those next month in the qualifying tournament.
@@jordanbabcock9349 USA has almost never been among top 3 in the 65kg. The fact USA has not been qualified yet for the Olympic in this weight class can tell you something about this. But these are all predictions, & I just wrote my opinion after analyzing this sport for more than 20 years 🙂

Ridiculous that they only have 6 weight classes at the olympics. Don’t want to slam other sports but it is frustrating.

Non of these kids will be on the Olympic podium. 65kg belongs to the Iranian (Amouzad), Russian (Mamedov) & Armenian (Tevanian) & Mongolian (Ochir).

Podium places are always claimed, until they're dethroned. You know why? Because nobody owns any podium spot.. they show up on time and earn it.
