100% I was done when they messed up the storm troopers... Storm troopers for always clone from jenga .. All the sudden we have female storm troopers and others... Disney blew it By not sticking to the story.
Exactly. Even the literal Jesus of Star Wars, the child of prophecy made from The Force, Anakin Skywalker, still had to learn how to use The Force, and to fight with a Lightsaber. The only thing he did with no training was pull something small toward a magnet during the pod race, and that's because he was desperate and accidentally utilized The Force. But he was also a child of Prophecy. Rey was a nobody, who was later stated to be the granddaughter of Palpatine, with completely normal nobody parents, and no sign of powers until they needed to make her a Jedi near the end of the first movie.
Maybe one fan pointed out you quit your training. Every single other fan had the same reaction you did. I hate the term Mary Sue, but Rey is now the official definition of one.
It's crazy because Mark knows the difference between production on set with Lucas and the recent ones without Lucas, you can see it in his eyes... He was probably shocked during the movie making on set
It's a shame we _didn't_ get Luke taking down the army with a laser sword. Would have made such a badass scene and set the stage for Starwars to thrive going forward. Obviously violence on that level isn't appropriate for a fully seasoned Master Luke, but this _isn't_ a fully seasoned Master Luke. This is a Luke who barely began the journey of a master before his life was torn asunder and his legacy destroyed. Let him dip towards the dark side, let him go on a rampage, let snoke gloat about the pending fall of Skywalker and looming darkness as the galaxy falls under the rule of the Dark Side once more. And then Ben sees what he was becoming and turns back and together he and Rey get through to Luke and save him from himself, not through combat but through the heart.
"You quit your training" I hate that excuse when people use it. Even tho he did leave his training with yoda he still did have some training he still struggled an extreme amount. There's like a 2 year gap in between a new hope and empire strikes back and after all that time knowing about the force he could barely pull the lightsaber like 6 feet in the cave. And then after training with Yoda he still can't lift his ship out of the swamp. And still gets obliterated by darth vader who was toying with him the entire fight. Then Rey comes along. Didn't even know the force existed until a day before and then effortlessly does mind tricks and defeats Kylo who had trained with luke since he was a teenager
Rey's a strong independent boss B, so she doesn't need any training or needing to learn how to pilot a ship that she's never flown before. Don't you dare tell Disney how to do a Star Wars movie. He's acting like he's been in one of them before or something.
In ep 4 luke had to really concentrate to use the force to pull out the saber from the ground/snow to free himself & amputate the wampa's hand. 😮 Well Rey garbagewalkeR has the plot armor. 😂
Coke screwed with formula and lost their ass with New Coke. Coke like Disney thought they could make a great thing better. When people told them they made it worse they listened cause people speak with money and coke listened. Disney was told they were messing up , they kept on . People started speaking with cash again but Disney ain't listening. I hear they dont have a choice now because for the first time ever Star Wars is losing money. Personally i hope they lose their ass and everyone in charge becomes shunned by society 😂😂😂. Really though I hope they do.
Giving the Disney Devil its due, Rey is revealed to be the granddaughter of Palpatine. She was raised in challenging but not outwardly malicious environs. (She wasn't raised to _be evil._ ) With that, the positive influence of the Force could guide her. The only problem with that story is that it's such a stretch, the rubber band breaks.
He's right though. The woke agenda and the whole bad boss bitch has ruined all these movies that have women as leads. Sigourney Weaver was the best without trying to be a bad ass
@@scottthesmartape9151or they could've done Rebels with Hera and Sabine.... Instead of joining them all up The idea of Rey wasn't a bad one, the way they wrote it sucked

Not that I’m saying the film was good, but to be fair, Luke only had the force sight training for (at most) half an hour, and then he force pulled his lightsaber to himself. I’m not saying that Rey should’ve used the force, but still…

It's the most iconic Luke Skywalker scene in original trilogy.
The lightsaber stuck in snow in an ice cave
I luv Mark Hamill's honesty, he never shys away from telling it like it is!
Honestly that would have been so cool!
I know right! Now everytime I watch this movie I just imagine Luke catching that saber!
@@aguywholovesstarwars He would be insulted for generations, because they would say: "how did Luke appear out of nowhere🤓"

Luke is the most important star wars character. Disney didnt do him justice.
Lol the Luke skywalker spoiler!

If when Rey met Luke and hejd out the lightsaber if Luke would have used the force to have it go to him would have been amazing but we got nothing.
Not true. We got... him tossing it over his shoulder..
Instead of a special reunion, we get a gag reel joke.

😊,....21st century don't need training😊. They all know everything and can do anything effortlessly😊......... As they will constantly😊 tell you😊
It would have been misogynistic to give Luke that grand of an entrance.
What's going on is they destroyed the storyline. No Jason, no Jaina, and no anikan solo. Shame on Disney 😢
The most disappointing entrance you mean.
❤😂
The last movies are as garbage as the 1st ones were amazing.
