Hello, I was wondering if you could make a video on how to take images of leather jackets or suits in the form of a flatlay? The work you've uploaded so far has been really helpful, especially the pin system. However, the pin system down't really work for suits and jackets because it seems to either pierce through the garment and causes holes to be formed or it doesn't pierce through at all. Thanks!

You can use the same set, instead of pins just use a c-stand with a hanger very close to the white surface. You can also try to put a huge screw inside the polystyrene panel to hang it, this is how I do for very heavy garments

Hey Marco, nice Video as always. Thank you. I´ve seen, that you have other reading of the white balance as normal (RGB) to find the right exposure like 82 in your shot... Where can i find this and switch to it in capture one so that i can see the values like in your video? thank ou for feedback. Greetz from germany, Alex

In my workflow I use Lab mode readout to read the lightness value, which on the light card is 92. There is a chart online, you can find it at the following link: images.app.goo.gl/tz76DRyAM9cYYbCd6

Hi, thanks! I don't remember the exact power but I usually shoot shoes between 1/8th and 1/4th.

That's a lot of shadowing on the bottom of shoe though? Beautiful pictures overall!

If you mean the projected shadow under the sole, it’s fine. Every shoes e-com picture you can find online has one.
