Great discussion! The time is right for Africa to redefine and build confidence its own philosophy. African scholars - like yourselves - playing their part would be helpful in this regard

Great conversation covering a wide range of topics with lots of nuggets. On a lighter note, I can relate to the studying abroad part in the sense that the experience was different from what i had envisioned but overall the system there works. There were so many good points that commenting on all of them will turn into a RUclips spam. I especially found the perspective on how colonialism made kikuyus obsessed with land very interesting and that before then, land was communally owned and was considered holy. This then took my mind to other Kenyan communities, the effects of colonialism and whether we were left better off or worse off. This was a very thought provoking discussion and i’m looking forward for more.👏🏾

Hey, thanks. Sure, i myself enjoyed the convo alot, the experience studying abroad part but also the colonialism bit, the sudden shift from communal land ownership to land as private property. And yeah, the obsession with land by Kikuyus, as Collins put it. Hit the notification button for future podcasts. :)
