I've had my ti lite 6 for over 12 years. Carried it with me through my military career. Best knife ive ever owned. Best affordable deterrent knife ever made, in my opinion.

I have one of these with the plastic handle. I never carry it because its just too big for me, but it super cool and I'm glad to have it in my collection. I never would have guessed you had to fix the tip, it looks perfect, nice work sir.

Yeah, I don't lend good knives to people... they think nothing of prying with it. (You did a good job restoring the tip.)

That's why you never let anyone use your knife. There are four things in life you never let anyone use your woman, motorcycle, axe, and knife.

Maybe he had a to lite with a broken tip and he took yours apart and traded blades.
Or maybe he took it apart and lost one of the washers when he put it back together. Or perhaps both.

lol that’s a very good theory and would be hilarious. I’d be happier if that was the case!

NEVER lend your knife out! I always carry an SR-1 tanto lite in my backpack for utility purposes. Good luck breaking the tip on that and still, if someone needs a knife, I'll do the cutting! GREAT WORK getting that tip back! Btw, be careful of that liner lock. The GSM Ti-Lites liners can fail if you do some spine taps on it. That really sucks cause before GSM, that liner lock was the "best" in the business... Tap that spine just to make sure...

Awesome thanks and I’ll try it out! This is a pre GSM ti lite so hopefully it’s good and yeah I don’t lend my knives out anymore……too much ptsd from this incident lol

Second that, The SR1 Tanto lite is actually indestructible.

the lier lock in ti lite models is not so good. I am affraid that it is not safe for user fingers and can be closed during using this knife (if it happend during sef defence it will suck...)

The answer to can I borrow your knife is:no you may not and don't ever speak to me again until you go buy a knife
