I’d be willing to bet that “puddin” feels 250% appreciated when they eat and love what he worked his ass off in the kitchen to make. Brian, you’re an unsung hero of the channel!! I’ve been here since around 5500 and something and you both have come along so far it’s breath taking. Love you all to pieces. Hopefully in June you all will be around the Destin area but probably not. Keep on catchin folks.

Fantastic video Darcizzle fam!! I miss Popcizzle in your videos and because my Dad passed a year ago as well as soon as you mentioned missing him a wave of emotions welled up inside of me. This grieving process is tough at times and when I go fishing and he's not there by my side it really pains me but then I think of all the wonderful years we had to do all the crazy stuff we did I smile big time. I live in N.California and I wish like hell we had Pompanos and all the other cool fish you guys get to catch but hey the Striped Bass and Sturgeon have awoken from their winter slumber cuz our weather this month has been fantastic so far. Darcy your hair is amazing, you are every mans dream, Puddin is one lucky dude and he knows it. I've been a subscriber for over 3 years now so I guess I'm almost an OG subber? Love and blessings to all of you! Tight lines and screaming reels.
Tony & Susan here, We have fished that beach and Hutchinson Island for many years . The hurricane a few years ago kind of wrecked the beach but they did reclaim and it is much better now. We also miss the Holiday Inn bar that is now condo's. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. I think I will use those rigs next time I am there.

Fun Video. It reminds me of when I was a kid on Ocean Isle Beach, NC. catching them off the pier and surf. We had good runs of them some years. Great memorises. And yes, I love'em. I couldn't live in Florida because of the heat and humidity...Visited years ago one year in middle of December the Temperature Shot up to 76 and humidity was insane...I had enough misery..Packed up cut vacation short and headed back North to get relief from the oppression... Give me snow ice and winter ANY DAY😁

Sear Pompano in light oil and finished off with butter and fresh garlic in the pan, add fresh lemon when taken off the heat, this is the best way to make it. Fun video, good times!

I really like your videos. It is refreshing to see a couple enjoy each other and fishing as well. You are both very lucky. Wishing you both tight lines and beautiful sunsets. I also like watching how your boats have progressed over the years and the cooking lessons. Always amazed that the water is flat or nearly so when you fish. Many times we have to go out in 2-4ft seas during the season in Tampa off shore 30-70 miles. Even in our 30 footer that is not fun. Tight lines and may the wind be at your back.

I grew up fishing there off of A-1A, but I moved away years ago and haven't been back. It's an awesome place to just spend the day swimming or fishing, you just have to be aware of the undertow there, sometimes it isn't bad, then other times it's pretty strong.

Late October - Late April = Pompano/blues/Spanish
May - July/August = Croaker, whiting
July - October- Tarpon, snook, mullet run

I fillet the same way as you, except you turn the blade when you go down the back so that the dull side faces the inside of the fish and the sharp side faces out and away. I can't wait to try your way. All these years and I never thought to do that. Thanks!

Great video!! I'd pay $100 for a meal like that... fresh caught pompano, then straight to the kitchen and prepared by Chef Puddin'!! It looks great. I just caught some rock fish (stripped bass) and grilled them Super Bowl weekend, but can't wait to try some pompano!!

Oh how the other half live! This is your idea of "winter" fishing? I just spent yesterday fishing the North Sea at Scarborough in the UK in 3 degrees Celsius, gale force winds and driving sleet and hail, catching postage stamp dabs, fingerling whiting and coalfish! In Florida you can tell it's winter when Darcie puts a T-shirt on over her bikini! lol Green with envy!
