They wanted to learn how to make humans lose their connection with their children or loved ones, but it didn't work on this particular woman. She kept saying her child's name and remembering him, so their experiment failed and everything went back to normal.
So many unanswered questions but the biggest for me is why was this experiment so important? Were they planning on abducting and relocating humans and previous experiments found that emotional bonds prevented the abductees from settling into the illusion?
@@ActiveDodger Easy there, just an honest question, lol. I can remember going to see this when it came out, but for the life of me, I couldn't say why. It seemed like a let down.
For me it was when the one guy went demon mode on the mom because she still remembered her son. That’s the only reason I remember this movie is because how much it freaked me out, didn’t expect it to be about aliens lol.
Cuz you racist. If it be white people being sucked off in the air the you'd laugh. I'm so sick of people like you holding my black community down. If you hate black folk so much move to Europe and go back to them caves yall came from #BlackLivesMatter
OMG I REMEMBER SEEING THE TRAILER TO THIS ON A TAPE WHEN I WAS LITTLE!!! I was never interested in it back then but suddenly I remembered it’s existence just not it’s name 😭 Now after many years I can finally watch it! Thanks for the summery 👍
I think it was more of them wanting to know if love was a quantifiable thing not just something we feel out of obligation for being mothers, wives, husbands, kids etc. I believe the aliens have evolved to a point where they got rid of most their base emotions that they probably considered unneeded not wanted and problematic. But I also think that the idea of this pure love that would never go away was something that intrigued them, and made them possibly a bit jealous.
Someday in one of this kind of channels I'll find the movie I've been looking for for years. I was so little when I watched that movie that the memories are so hazy and confusing, all that stayed and remained with me was the profound feeling of being scared, confused and sad after watching the movie. Well I was only 7 back then.
I do hope you find that movie Izzy. The joy that comes with completing an intricate puzzle such as a lost movie from one’s childhood is an exhilarating one. Hope you enjoy the moment, be good.
No, it just shows that aliens from space are controlling our lives. At least to some degree. It's a subtle control of course. They "nudge" mankind in certain directions etc.
@@nompilontuli7195 See, my point is 'under the circumstances'; PROVIDED such a thing happens. That doesn't mean I believe dangerous extraterrestrials exist, now does it!
I didn’t like this movie that much, but it has a car crash scene that was so well directed that it was worth watching twice. I think every single person in the room jumped out of their seats.
Obducted by aliens, as experiment on human connection and memory. She was the only parent (of kid boarding plane from the beginning) that remembered her son and that girl existed, so they brought them back.
I've got to remember that "Movie Shortens" fails to let viewers know how any movie wraps up. I have to stop wasting my time since there is zero pay off for hopeful viewers. Blah.
good movie!! actors are all very good and i can’t remember any of their names. the women detective is Alfre ? she is just a beautiful woman. another one with no explanation! argh!!
Isn’t that cloud formation rather similar to the one seen somewhere recently (can’t remember where exactly) and perhaps connected with CERN? Is this film an example of predictive programming I wonder?

So dumb
you forgot to mention that she said his name EVERY time she looked at his picture, looked at his toys or talked about him.
