This technique can be done in standing as well. But having the patient in a sitting position will be effective to get the thrust through, especially when dealing with endomorphic body type patients. Thanks, really helpful.

Great video. I have some really obese patients that I will try this technique on. Some patients cant fully cross their arms across their chest, they cant get their elbows midline. Where do you suggest I contact them, do I still put my hand just on their forearms in their midline? Thanks for the great vid

    • @JohnGibbons

You just have to adapt and if you cant reach because of their size then you are not able to perform the technique correctly, regards JG

@@JohnGibbons Thanks for the reply John, I can reach around but she doesn't have the flexibility to have her elbows reach midline. I am guessing she is around 130kilograms but very short. Does that mean I wont be able to perform the technique correctly since her elbows are not midline but lateral.

Hllo john ..in kyphotic curve of thoracic there is already facet open.
We need to close the facet .
So will thrust not further increases the facet and worsen the condition??????

Same like this when I was doing barbell chest workout. I had a nose block and also water on my mouth at that time. So I hold my breath in and lifted the barbell 2 times while holding the breath. I think because of that, the vertebrates in the thoracic spine slightly moved. So I got heart palpitations on that night and nowadays having trouble breathing because of that many times. What can be the approx reason for this doc?
