Why the ORIGINAL Droid Army was So Much More Terrifying than Anything the Clone Wars Had

The main reason is very simple the Clone Wars era droid army was never intended to be victorious in a quick early battle, the plan was to have a long and costly war so Sidious would slowly gain more and more power in the Senate to a point where him becoming the emperor was just a change in title.

" Of all the enemies to public liberty war is, perhaps, the most to be dreaded, because it comprises and develops the germ of every other. War is the parent of armies; from these proceed debts and taxes; and armies, and debts, and taxes are the known instruments for bringing the many under the domination of the few. In war, too, the discretionary power of the Executive is extended; its influence in dealing out offices, honors, and emoluments is multiplied; and all the means of seducing the minds, are added to those of subduing the force, of the people. The same malignant aspect in republicanism may be traced in the inequality of fortunes, and the opportunities of fraud, growing out of a state of war, and in the degeneracy of manners and of morals engendered by both. No nation could preserve its freedom in the midst of continual warfare"

You see that a few times in "The Clone Wars" Palpatine allowed the Malevolence to exist as it put pressure on the GAR but if it had existed too long the Confederacy would have won the war. Without the push-and-pull of both sides fighting to overtake the other, especially when Umbara seceded from the Republic, this forced each side to become focused only on defeating the other until they were caught off-guard by the shift into an Empire

Personal opinion the creators of Iokath and the Eternal Fleet along with the GEMENI droid were the Celestial, considering the Celestials were advanced enough to create star systems like Corellia artificially and create the Maw to entrap Abeloth I think its safe to say that the Celestials are the most likely of the advanced races in Star Wars to create Iokath a Dyson Sphere and massive droid armada that can stop everything an its path. Hell the Eternal fleet would have been the perfect counter to the Vong an AI controlled Armada that advanced it would anger the Vong and cause them to lose tactic cohession also the sheer amount of ships would swarm the Vong out of existance. But again my opinion on Iokaths' creators is they were 95% certain to have been the Celestials

There could be several ways to play it out like having them wake pre-clone wars but post Naboo invasion, during it or the Empire. You could do a coexistence story set in the post Galactic Civil War but not so far out that it can't build forces and alliances before the Vong invade. Have that one GEMINI be a champion of ideals that Vong can't accept due to the murder bots in their origin galaxy turning them hateful against machines.

What I always find interesting abt Star Wars is the lack of true megastructures. A Dyson sphere(or more Likely, a Dyson swarm, since a rigid structure like a sphere isn’t gonna work super well at such a huge scale) is possible now, in real life, with real life tech and real life physics.
It would allow for power storage and generation on a scale so massive, if it were realistic, the sphere shown in this video could power every droid in existence in the Star Wars universe, and it wouldn’t take up more than maybe 10% of the total power produced to do so, indefinitely, even with less efficient wireless power transmission.
Stars are far more resource dense than any planet. It doesn’t matter the size of the Star or how many planets it has in orbit, every star in existence has more resources, and more importantly, the SAME EXACT base materials as ANY of the planets it has orbiting it.
That means our sun has more resources than every planet, asteroid, or stellar body in our entire solar system combined.
Something like the Death Star is child’s play compared to what a Dyson swarm surrounded by mirrors and focusing lenses could do, and it wouldn’t have any weak points that could shut it off in one go, since a Dyson swarm is literally hundreds of millions of individual mechanical units that do everything from point defense, long range scanning, provide living area and food, etc.
And that’s all some shit we could do in real life. With how good automation is in Star Wars, the fact that FTL travel and communication is possible, and there are clearly sone differences in the laws of physics that make such megastructures easier, there’s no real reason why we don’t see massive Dyson swarms around most stars. Most people wouldn’t even be living on a planet, believe it or not, it’s much easier to make a fully enclosed living area using centrifugal force to create spin gravity than it is to terraform any planet on similar timescales. Those space habitats are called O’Neal cylinders and could be even more heavily armed than any warship, and serve as one as well. If you have a generator to power it, you also have the tech to either make a separate engine or convert it into one should you need to.
we need more massive megastructures in SW. the super weapons we’ve seen are lowkey pathetic compared to what we can already do under known physics. We need a borche planet the size of a solar system, now THATS a Death Star. Not that fragile pea shooter the emperor pissed quadrillions of credits away to build

You should make a video about who is the true ruler of what's left of Mandalore. Far as I can tell, there's 2 people in the running, with a 3rd wannabe pretender.
    1. Boba Fett. Son of Jango the last true mandalorian.
    2. Whoever finds the first Mandalore helmet.
    3. This one is confusing. Wannabe pretender is Bo-Katan. But the real leader should be Anakin. He defeated palpatine, who defeated maul, who defeated pre vizla. Ezra took the saber from mauls cave when he wasn't looking, and gave it to Sabine, who in turn handed it over to Bo-Katan.

Calling a Dyson Sphere a hamster ball for a star is funny but I feel like it really downplays the incredulity of the project, even in the Star Wars universe I feel like not many systems have a Dyson Sphere if any of them do, and most of which we’re probably built by ancient, long lost civilizations

After watching this video I'm not sure which would have been a more dangerous and formidable enemy if used during the Clone Wars; the Pollux droids (streamlined and advanced) or the GEMINI (clearly feminine in design, but almost as dangerous as the single-minded obsession of the Daleks). Either a single Pollux taking out a battalion with little damage, or the hive-mind mentality of an advanced swarm and either way you get a good look at a design no one else in the galaxy could match (not for lack of trying anyway)

Ok so hear me out: Post Sequels (regardless of what you think them) the galaxy right now is lacking a dominant galaxy. What if the next threat could be a droid uprising?
A signal over the holonet goes off and starts to turn droids from astromechs to larger construction droids go haywire with bellicose if not murderous intent. But this was to sow fear while the mastermind, a sentient droid unleashes mass produced war droids from hidden factories and autonomous fleets across the galaxy?

IG-88 had a plan like that. Though it failed since he downloaded his consciousness into a replacement Death Star 2 computer core. Death Star 2 was destroyed before he could carry out his plan.

I don't like that you skipped through Areies: real personality (who wanted peaceful result of his trials so he could gift Iokath to a non violent and selfish people unlike his creators) and that his A.I's form of choice was human. He wasn't malevolent. In fact Iokath was a collaborative effort of all kinds of aliens/human scientists from through the galaxy , that after 1000s of years became more and more depraved and cold towards life like the machines they had created to test lesser and greater worlds to upgrade their weaponry.
When I played the game (as Sith) I killed Scorpio, can't have a Terminator going crazy and attacking The human race out of fear.
