ty for updating this, i just found this review and i am in the market for this tablet.. very powerful but i do need a keyboard/trackpad to go with it.. heavily considered the ipad pro with m1... but Samsung Dex just wins it over for me.. sometimes i need true multi tasking and not panes on sides or w/e that apple offers n before apple fans roast me my main phone is an iphone.. just need a tablet with more desktop-like abilities

Great to see that some of the issues have been fixed. And plus, with the education discount and the bundle discount, if you buy this with the tablet, it is just less than 100 bucks and this is far more acceptable for me.

Some 'computers' feel slow and antiquated after a month of use. With the S7+, speed feels as fast as it did when I bought it. Because I don't use apps that are heavy on graphics, I get a respectable 7 hours of battery life before I recharge (I juice back up when I get to 20%). While the S7+ is 3 year old technology, I see no reason to upgrade to a S9+. S7+ is a good value for 99% of what you would use a tablet for.
for those people who are stuck with this keyboard, i found that for the trackpad, clawing your fingers in and using your nails, it doesnt friction on you as well as the scrolling is a lot smoother.
I watched the entire video and agreed with all your points then ordered one anyway 'cause even a year later no one has come up with a better design (IMO), I love the covered pen with kickstand & magnetic back with the detachable keyboard / screen cover. For the flat keyboard I'm gonna try a bit of bluetack under the floppy bit and see if that gives it enought lift and it looks like they've changed the trackpad cause it's smooth and works well for me. Did help that I got it for just over £100 which in my eyes is still too much but I absolutely love the design.

Thanks for addressing this issue. I thought I was the only one experiencing that and it gets really annoying especially for the price you pay for it and I owned a Galaxy Tab S7+. The Tab was fantastic just a shame that the keyboard isn't. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for saving me several bucks. I was second-guessing myself if I should buy it or not. A bluetooth mechanical keyboard would be miles better if I'm gonna use it mostly on the desk anyway

Interestingly enough there is now a trackpad-less keyboard cover for both the S7 and the S7 Plus, the Book Cover Keyboard Slim. EDIT: Which is not only trackpad-less but also the way the tablet rests is different from the original keyboard cover.
@@janetheobscure3426 The key press is pretty good on the keys in my experience, no issues with it. Except personally I would like a more laid back angle of the display, especially not a great angle for taller people, especially since there is only 1 set angle you can have it with that keyboard, but this is less wobbly than the one with the trackpad again due to different design.
Thanks for the heads-up on this stuff. I wish the more popular reviewers actually did this testing instead of just reading the same scripts from Samsung
I bought the s7 plus a month or two ago, I couldn't afford the case/keyboard but I had a few adapters and a USB hub, so I've been using a normal USB keyboard and mouse and they're both been working well, good video
The one for the S7+ is great, but the one for the S7 is crap. Because of the tinier size, they had to put the function keys next to the backspace, which isn' a problem, except for the screenshot button. There's no way to disable that and if a person checks my gallery they would notice that it's full of fricking screenshots
I've been using the keyboard case for about 6 months now, while I don't use it everyday, my biggest annoyance is when im trying to use the track pad but there's no response on the tablet. It does eventually kick on but it's really annoying. I'm not a fan of the track pad, it glitches like you said and it highlights words when I just want to scroll. I've resorted to using the up and down arrows on the keyboard to move the page up and down instead. I have a USB mouse but then it takes up my one and only port so I just bought a Bluetooth mouse to use along with a wireless keyboard. The cover is good enough for when im at work and just have something small to do but I dont like it when I'm just at home doing online projects. I recommend it for people who don't intend to use their tablets for productivity everyday or homework/notes for school. However some people might not be bothered by the things mentioned. Its great for portability which is why I wanted it. If I'm not mistaken I got mine included since I pre-ordered my tablet.
Very well done, I reviewed tab s7 keyboard and i found the same issues. I missed some details to mention that to mentioned like scrolling and it goes back up sometimes. Although a little extreme in the starting. But thats the sad truth. Way to go man.

@@JakeBaconDigital I had an iPad pro, I sold my S6 to try one. Thats basically my first apple device which i purchased. The experience is very different. Sure iPad OS has its limitations but on tablet its a smooth experience. And i sold my tab s7 and keyboard to buy magic keyboard. It was worth it. I really liked tab s7 but keyboard ruined everything and like you said either you use it or you don't. I had to because i was too lazy to remove the case 😁
@@JakeBaconDigital I am not a fan of Windows, so DeX kind of reminded me of that experience. iPad feels familiar, and for tablet multitasking is good as its still a tab. I use full view on my macs as well so sliding with touchpad is same. For me its all about experience, like i love pixel phones and waiting desperately for pixel 4a.
Your review is on point..I suffered a lot trying to use and make this trackpad work. Samsung needs to address this fast on their new upcoming tab s8 because, in the end, I just gave up and returned it.
Thanks for your honest opinion! I got a 2-in-1 so I'm used to using the mouse, going to the touchscreen, then back to the mouse! I think I'll be good! I am happy that a consumer made a real review video about the stupid, quirky, annoying things in a product that companies don't rectify after justifiable complaints though! Looking around for a fix for an issue I'm having and it led me here .. some of the symbols (> and ^, to mention some) are completely unusable. Sometimes pressing shift and a symbol gives me a completely different one. No idea how to fix it, wishing i had seen this review before i bought it :(
Agreed on every point. But I love the magnetic back stand. The keyboard has been tossed in a drawer indefinitely now. Hopefully Samsung addresses most of these issues on the next Android 11 update. I'm using a Logitech keyboard with built in track pad for now.
It's not NEARLY as bad as he is making it out to be at all! I run two businesses on my tab s7 plus, I use it for media consumption, web page managing, and I've connected my email and texts to it so I barely use my phone anymore. In short, I use the keyboard all day long and find it a huge breath of fresh air. Don't listen to me, or him, wait till you get yours and try it out, but personally, I think the general user will love it.
So what did you decide about this keyboard? Did you end up keeping it? ALSO, I am so glad you brought up all the issues with it! Most people just say "yeah its great buy it!"......this things are good to consider when purchasing the keyboard. I currently use a bluetooth keyboard and mouse and was going to buy this keyboard for my tablet because I find it annoying to have to add the keyboard and mouse in my bag and then have to try to not forget them anywhere, but, after watching this, I think I'll keep my setup because it costs a fraction of the price and still works well for me.

I see you have noted that they have fixed some of the issues with updates. I just got this for my wife and I hate this keyboard. I wanted to get her an ipad Pro and a magic keyboard, but she hasn't ever shown any interest in switching from her Samsung phones, so i wanted something that would fully integrate and be familiar for her. Do you have a recommendation for something better? Something more stable, one piece, and backlit like the magic keyboard?
Unfortunately I haven’t found anything like the magic keyboard design for the tab s7… I am going to look around and try to make a video if I can find any good alternatives. I was also very reluctant to switch but I recently started using an IPad Pro with magic keyboard instead of the tab s7 and I’ve been really liking it. I wouldn’t say the iPad Pro is a better tablet just different but the magic keyboard is way better (although still overpriced IMO so getting used would be better). Maybe see if she would want to at least give it a try…🤷♂️
I got an s8 (with the slim keyboard cover) and at first, I was annoyed that that didn't have a trackpad, so I got the s7 keyboard cover because both devices support the same accessories. But oh man...everything in this video is 100% accurate. The trackpad is so inconsistent and weird that going back to reaching for the touchscreen instead is night and day different. And the flimsiness of this keyboard in how it connects to the tablet as opposed to the slim keyboard cover (which doesn't have customizable angles, but is much sturdier...I really wish Samsung would try to make something that has the best of both worlds? Something sturdy, with a GOOD trackpad, good covering for the S Pen, etc.,

@@jsadecki1 I would say the slim keyboard cover (with NO trackpad) is very good - no missed keys with it. I would NOT get the keyboard cover with trackpad.
@@jsadecki1 It's been a very long time since I had any virtual keyboard issues -- but I also have the s8, not s7, so it's possible that that was fixed for s8 a while ago? (now, i only exclusively use the hardware keyboard, but I just switched back to virtual and didn't notice anything unusual.) What I can say is the keyboard with trackpad is laggy garbage (mostly because the trackpad itself is bad) so you want to go w/ the slim keyboard (no trackpad.)
Between Galaxy tab S7 and S7+ which shows a better picture when streaming movies? For example Netflix. This is my biggest reason for buying a tablet, media streaming.
You could get the Vinpok Taptek Thinnest Wireless Mac Mechanical Keyboard which is 100 bucks cheaper than then Samsung's keyboard so there is that if you are looking for alternatives. It has RGB lighting on the keys.

great video, thanks! I just bought the s7+ and it seems to be a great device, but I know by experience with S4 that I would like to have a keyboard. I think this cover keyboard is better than S4 which lacks trackpad, backlight (as well), but is also hard to remove if you just want to use the tablet without the keyboard. You make me really think if the whole package is worth it at all or if it would be better to stick with S4 until S8+ or something similar with better keyboard support. What about software upgrades, DEX mode, does it work better? Would it be better do you think with a bluetooth keyboard and just a tablet cover? Any recommendations there?
I already have the tab S7 plus with this keyboard, its bothered me that it doesn't support spell auto-correction and other useful things used in any keyboard, like capitalize the first letter
The lack of spell auto-correction is a huge no for me. I don’t know how it is possible they forgot to add such a crucial thing, especially for a student. I’m glad I read your comment
@@theloller7304 nice that my response help you, the device is amazing, but i think they didn't make the keyboard integrated well with the software. But there are some way to do it but im not sure if this will work fine, like to have the SwiftKey keyboard, it might help a little bit. But for me i think its critical to have it setup right in the system.
whilst your points are all valid and everything i do feel your point on lapabillity a tad overexaggerated especailly with the demonstration you gave im only 5""10 and have very little problems with mine its not the most comfortable typing experience but its far from annoying
I'm glad it doesn't bother you as much but to me I find it annoying. Its ok to type here and there but not typing documents or anything serious unless on a flat surface imo. Its hard to fully show it in the video but if you use it and like it then that is good.
I had th ekeyboard for about three two days removed when using it and just power it off from the side... Now it doesn't connect and I done most of the settings to reconnect it, reset the keyboard settings, restart the keyboard about three times.... How else can I solve this glitch.... My other annoyance with the keyboard is you cannot use it when not connected even it is a bluetooth keyboard, i want to use it in portrait mode and that is NOT possible at all....

Hey. One question. If you just use the back cover of the Samsung keyboard and use it as a notebook in portrait mode to write, does the portruding part of the s pen flap bother you with the keyboard being raised on one side?

My only complaint really IS THAT DAMN TOUCHPAD!!!! I like that its connected directly into the tablet, meaning zero bluetooth typing delays, but that touchpad is WAAAAAY to easy to hit when typing.

Nice video,currently I have mine rn and the experience from using this keyboard case is not as good as expected.I hate the flappy connection between the tab and keyboard itself due to 3 pin connectors,and I had some issues where my tab didn’t recognize physical keyboard and had to reconnect the connector pins several times before it can be used.I tried to look for another keyboard case for this tablet,but many company rarely make an alternative and more focusing on the Ipad keyboard case
Omg I don't know what to do anymore :') I wanted to buy it because I want a keyboard AND it's the only suitcase I found with something to hold the pen while it's in charge. Reading recent comments, it seems the issues are related to the keyboard itself and not software. When I started watching the video and saw the upload date, I was hoping it was solved in 2022, but it seems its behaving the same? Im looking to buy this tablet with the keyboard for taking notes and using it for some excel editing on the go, surfing the web and to watch videos. Ive got a powerful latop with a 34" inch screen at my office so I wont use the tablet for excel at all. But I have found that when Im traveling, taking my laptop is a bit uncomfortable because its very heavy (gamer laptop) and takes a lot of space. I currently have the Tab S6 Lite but since new, I noticed its a bit slow. So basically, this tablet will be specifically to use it when traveling or going to visit customers. Would you recommend it for my needs?

What about using bluetooth with other keypads, or USB keyboard.? I didn't like the price of the S7 plus so am ordering the S7 Tablet and using my own keypad when needed.
There is pros and cons with the keyboard cover. Glad I got mine for free when I purchased the s7 Plus because it's not worth it's price. I don't have the problem with the mouse taking 3 seconds to load, mine instantly loads and I don't have problems removing my keyboard and not having the touchscreen keyboard showing up, it shows up for me without restarting it :)
So do you know if there is a fix (software or firmware) underway that we can expect the problem to be resolved? Or shall we just return it for a refund? Having asking this here, I am also contacting my local Samsung technical support if they have a solution.

I have question about keyboards in general. When you switch to a physical keyboard you loose spell check and word suggestions. This is available for the on screen keyboard. So is there a way to get the same on a physical keyboard. Or is there a app that would work as a replacement...
The most annoying thing about this keyboard is that there is zero corner protection, rendering it useless for my applications. Got it for free tho, so no complaints.
Nive video. Im at the fence of buying a s7 or not as a productive tools, and i was worry the keyboard might not works really well like a proper laptop keyboard. Is there a way you can get in touch with an official at samsung and report these issues to samsung directly or send them this video? If yes, then it'd make it easier for them to iron out the issues as well and if not, we just play the waiting game and hope that they come out with a solution rather swiftly or at all and I learn that this is not the way how the world works.

Everyone talks about the great typing experience on this keyboard, but I had the multilingual version (con #1 if you're in Canada and don't speak\type in french) and the typing experience was very subpar. I couldn't get over 60wpm because it kept missing keystrokes. I ended up returning it and buying a $60 keyboard cover from Amazon and though the design of it is seriously weak compared to the official one from samsung, the keyboard is leagues ahead. I can type at almost 100wpm easily and as I'm getting used to the keyboard I'm getting faster. Overall I'm seriously disappionted in the cover from Samsung. At that price point, I'm expecting a high quality keyboard, a choice in the keyboard layout (They'd sell more US English layouts in parts of Canada but there's no no options), and for it to be backlit. Maybe Samsung will release a better keyboard, or someone will mimic the same surface-pro like design and out-shine them for less money.

Maybe, but the physical design of it is one of the bigger issues, but hopefully samsung will fix the issues soon, but they are also known for being slow with software updates 😬

A friend of mine got a surface go and it does everything 95% of people would do on this but at a fraction of the price with a much muuuuuuch better keyboard, running full windows and having excellent pen support. I think the surface go has killer value
This keyboard stopped working after a year. It just quit working. I just type on the tablet now but im upgrading anyway to the Tab S9 Ultra anyway. I suspect the pins on the keyboard broke or the connection in the holes were you hook the pins into.
sucks to suck. do you have any other keyboard recommendations for the tab s7 plus? I don't know which one to get, if I should prioritize a trackpad or not etc...
What about the review seems fishy and what would I have to gain from that? Look how many comments have similar issues. I’m glad you haven’t had any of those issues it’s also been two years and could have been fixed with updates I haven’t tried it again.
Slightly abrasively put but everything you say here is accurate - I own the Tab S7+ but there are undeniable issues with this keyboard: * Two finger scrolling sometimes causes a jump back up the page * When closed the keyboard sometimes does not sleep and also wakes when it shouldn't * Apps not implementing the keyboard properly (e.g. CTRL + T in Samsung internet doesn't move cursor to new tab...) * Doesn't protect sides of device * No backlighting (I don't care that much about this except the Caps Lock key is annoying)

@@janetheobscure3426 The key press is pretty good on the keys in my experience, no issues with it. Except personally I would like a more laid back angle of the display, especially not a great angle for taller people, especially since there is only 1 set angle you can have it with that keyboard, but this is less wobbly than the one with the trackpad again due to different design.

I bought the s7 plus a month or two ago, I couldn't afford the case/keyboard but I had a few adapters and a USB hub, so I've been using a normal USB keyboard and mouse and they're both been working well, good video

The one for the S7+ is great, but the one for the S7 is crap. Because of the tinier size, they had to put the function keys next to the backspace, which isn' a problem, except for the screenshot button. There's no way to disable that and if a person checks my gallery they would notice that it's full of fricking screenshots
I've been using the keyboard case for about 6 months now, while I don't use it everyday, my biggest annoyance is when im trying to use the track pad but there's no response on the tablet. It does eventually kick on but it's really annoying. I'm not a fan of the track pad, it glitches like you said and it highlights words when I just want to scroll. I've resorted to using the up and down arrows on the keyboard to move the page up and down instead. I have a USB mouse but then it takes up my one and only port so I just bought a Bluetooth mouse to use along with a wireless keyboard. The cover is good enough for when im at work and just have something small to do but I dont like it when I'm just at home doing online projects. I recommend it for people who don't intend to use their tablets for productivity everyday or homework/notes for school. However some people might not be bothered by the things mentioned. Its great for portability which is why I wanted it. If I'm not mistaken I got mine included since I pre-ordered my tablet.
Very well done, I reviewed tab s7 keyboard and i found the same issues. I missed some details to mention that to mentioned like scrolling and it goes back up sometimes. Although a little extreme in the starting. But thats the sad truth. Way to go man.

@@JakeBaconDigital I had an iPad pro, I sold my S6 to try one. Thats basically my first apple device which i purchased. The experience is very different. Sure iPad OS has its limitations but on tablet its a smooth experience. And i sold my tab s7 and keyboard to buy magic keyboard. It was worth it. I really liked tab s7 but keyboard ruined everything and like you said either you use it or you don't. I had to because i was too lazy to remove the case 😁

@@JakeBaconDigital I am not a fan of Windows, so DeX kind of reminded me of that experience. iPad feels familiar, and for tablet multitasking is good as its still a tab. I use full view on my macs as well so sliding with touchpad is same. For me its all about experience, like i love pixel phones and waiting desperately for pixel 4a.
Your review is on point..I suffered a lot trying to use and make this trackpad work. Samsung needs to address this fast on their new upcoming tab s8 because, in the end, I just gave up and returned it.

Looking around for a fix for an issue I'm having and it led me here .. some of the symbols (> and ^, to mention some) are completely unusable. Sometimes pressing shift and a symbol gives me a completely different one. No idea how to fix it, wishing i had seen this review before i bought it :(

Agreed on every point. But I love the magnetic back stand. The keyboard has been tossed in a drawer indefinitely now. Hopefully Samsung addresses most of these issues on the next Android 11 update.

It's not NEARLY as bad as he is making it out to be at all! I run two businesses on my tab s7 plus, I use it for media consumption, web page managing, and I've connected my email and texts to it so I barely use my phone anymore. In short, I use the keyboard all day long and find it a huge breath of fresh air. Don't listen to me, or him, wait till you get yours and try it out, but personally, I think the general user will love it.
So what did you decide about this keyboard? Did you end up keeping it?
ALSO, I am so glad you brought up all the issues with it! Most people just say "yeah its great buy it!"......this things are good to consider when purchasing the keyboard. I currently use a bluetooth keyboard and mouse and was going to buy this keyboard for my tablet because I find it annoying to have to add the keyboard and mouse in my bag and then have to try to not forget them anywhere, but, after watching this, I think I'll keep my setup because it costs a fraction of the price and still works well for me.
got litterally the best dealfrom BB, S7+ open box but barely used with this keyboard book cover for 600 after taxes. by far a great buy

Fantastic work there Jake and great production value. I actually just stumbled upon your channel as I was trying to figure out whether other people are having a positive experience with this. I'm prepping for my own review video of this tablet but I have my share of gripes with this keyboard, but I think it's because of my huge hands, and also the fact that I have the S7. I see you have noted that they have fixed some of the issues with updates. I just got this for my wife and I hate this keyboard. I wanted to get her an ipad Pro and a magic keyboard, but she hasn't ever shown any interest in switching from her Samsung phones, so i wanted something that would fully integrate and be familiar for her. Do you have a recommendation for something better? Something more stable, one piece, and backlit like the magic keyboard?
Unfortunately I haven’t found anything like the magic keyboard design for the tab s7… I am going to look around and try to make a video if I can find any good alternatives. I was also very reluctant to switch but I recently started using an IPad Pro with magic keyboard instead of the tab s7 and I’ve been really liking it. I wouldn’t say the iPad Pro is a better tablet just different but the magic keyboard is way better (although still overpriced IMO so getting used would be better). Maybe see if she would want to at least give it a try…🤷♂️

I got an s8 (with the slim keyboard cover) and at first, I was annoyed that that didn't have a trackpad, so I got the s7 keyboard cover because both devices support the same accessories. But oh man...everything in this video is 100% accurate. The trackpad is so inconsistent and weird that going back to reaching for the touchscreen instead is night and day different. And the flimsiness of this keyboard in how it connects to the tablet as opposed to the slim keyboard cover (which doesn't have customizable angles, but is much sturdier...I really wish Samsung would try to make something that has the best of both worlds? Something sturdy, with a GOOD trackpad, good covering for the S Pen, etc.,
are these fixed for yo now? my virtual keyboard is laggy and makes me misspell things every 3rd word i was wondering if buying the physical keyboard will fix this?
@@jsadecki1 I would say the slim keyboard cover (with NO trackpad) is very good - no missed keys with it. I would NOT get the keyboard cover with trackpad.

@@jsadecki1 It's been a very long time since I had any virtual keyboard issues -- but I also have the s8, not s7, so it's possible that that was fixed for s8 a while ago? (now, i only exclusively use the hardware keyboard, but I just switched back to virtual and didn't notice anything unusual.)
What I can say is the keyboard with trackpad is laggy garbage (mostly because the trackpad itself is bad) so you want to go w/ the slim keyboard (no trackpad.)
Between Galaxy tab S7 and S7+ which shows a better picture when streaming movies? For example Netflix. This is my biggest reason for buying a tablet, media streaming.
You could get the Vinpok Taptek Thinnest Wireless Mac Mechanical Keyboard which is 100 bucks cheaper than then Samsung's keyboard so there is that if you are looking for alternatives. It has RGB lighting on the keys.

great video, thanks! I just bought the s7+ and it seems to be a great device, but I know by experience with S4 that I would like to have a keyboard. I think this cover keyboard is better than S4 which lacks trackpad, backlight (as well), but is also hard to remove if you just want to use the tablet without the keyboard. You make me really think if the whole package is worth it at all or if it would be better to stick with S4 until S8+ or something similar with better keyboard support. What about software upgrades, DEX mode, does it work better? Would it be better do you think with a bluetooth keyboard and just a tablet cover? Any recommendations there?

But there are some way to do it but im not sure if this will work fine, like to have the SwiftKey keyboard, it might help a little bit.
But for me i think its critical to have it setup right in the system.

whilst your points are all valid and everything i do feel your point on lapabillity a tad overexaggerated especailly with the demonstration you gave im only 5""10 and have very little problems with mine its not the most comfortable typing experience but its far from annoying
I'm glad it doesn't bother you as much but to me I find it annoying. Its ok to type here and there but not typing documents or anything serious unless on a flat surface imo. Its hard to fully show it in the video but if you use it and like it then that is good.

I had th ekeyboard for about three two days removed when using it and just power it off from the side...
Now it doesn't connect and I done most of the settings to reconnect it, reset the keyboard settings, restart the keyboard about three times....
How else can I solve this glitch....
My other annoyance with the keyboard is you cannot use it when not connected even it is a bluetooth keyboard, i want to use it in portrait mode and that is NOT possible at all....

Hey. One question. If you just use the back cover of the Samsung keyboard and use it as a notebook in portrait mode to write, does the portruding part of the s pen flap bother you with the keyboard being raised on one side?

Nice video,currently I have mine rn and the experience from using this keyboard case is not as good as expected.I hate the flappy connection between the tab and keyboard itself due to 3 pin connectors,and I had some issues where my tab didn’t recognize physical keyboard and had to reconnect the connector pins several times before it can be used.I tried to look for another keyboard case for this tablet,but many company rarely make an alternative and more focusing on the Ipad keyboard case

Reading recent comments, it seems the issues are related to the keyboard itself and not software. When I started watching the video and saw the upload date, I was hoping it was solved in 2022, but it seems its behaving the same? Im looking to buy this tablet with the keyboard for taking notes and using it for some excel editing on the go, surfing the web and to watch videos. Ive got a powerful latop with a 34" inch screen at my office so I wont use the tablet for excel at all. But I have found that when Im traveling, taking my laptop is a bit uncomfortable because its very heavy (gamer laptop) and takes a lot of space. I currently have the Tab S6 Lite but since new, I noticed its a bit slow. So basically, this tablet will be specifically to use it when traveling or going to visit customers. Would you recommend it for my needs?

There is pros and cons with the keyboard cover. Glad I got mine for free when I purchased the s7 Plus because it's not worth it's price. I don't have the problem with the mouse taking 3 seconds to load, mine instantly loads and I don't have problems removing my keyboard and not having the touchscreen keyboard showing up, it shows up for me without restarting it :)
Ah well maybe mine will be fixed with a software update! And I agree not worth it. Wish we had it for free here

the fintie one is only 30 bucks looks a tiny bit uglier but you can detach the magnetic keyboard and put it anywhere that you want

I have question about keyboards in general. When you switch to a physical keyboard you loose spell check and word suggestions. This is available for the on screen keyboard. So is there a way to get the same on a physical keyboard. Or is there a app that would work as a replacement...

The most annoying thing about this keyboard is that there is zero corner protection, rendering it useless for my applications. Got it for free tho, so no complaints.

Is there a way you can get in touch with an official at samsung and report these issues to samsung directly or send them this video? If yes, then it'd make it easier for them to iron out the issues as well and if not, we just play the waiting game and hope that they come out with a solution rather swiftly or at all and I learn that this is not the way how the world works.

Everyone talks about the great typing experience on this keyboard, but I had the multilingual version (con #1 if you're in Canada and don't speak\type in french) and the typing experience was very subpar. I couldn't get over 60wpm because it kept missing keystrokes. I ended up returning it and buying a $60 keyboard cover from Amazon and though the design of it is seriously weak compared to the official one from samsung, the keyboard is leagues ahead. I can type at almost 100wpm easily and as I'm getting used to the keyboard I'm getting faster.
Overall I'm seriously disappionted in the cover from Samsung. At that price point, I'm expecting a high quality keyboard, a choice in the keyboard layout (They'd sell more US English layouts in parts of Canada but there's no no options), and for it to be backlit.
Maybe Samsung will release a better keyboard, or someone will mimic the same surface-pro like design and out-shine them for less money.

A friend of mine got a surface go and it does everything 95% of people would do on this but at a fraction of the price with a much muuuuuuch better keyboard, running full windows and having excellent pen support. I think the surface go has killer value

This keyboard stopped working after a year. It just quit working. I just type on the tablet now but im upgrading anyway to the Tab S9 Ultra anyway. I suspect the pins on the keyboard broke or the connection in the holes were you hook the pins into.

What about the review seems fishy and what would I have to gain from that? Look how many comments have similar issues. I’m glad you haven’t had any of those issues it’s also been two years and could have been fixed with updates I haven’t tried it again.
Slightly abrasively put but everything you say here is accurate - I own the Tab S7+ but there are undeniable issues with this keyboard:
* Two finger scrolling sometimes causes a jump back up the page
* When closed the keyboard sometimes does not sleep and also wakes when it shouldn't
* Apps not implementing the keyboard properly (e.g. CTRL + T in Samsung internet doesn't move cursor to new tab...)
* Doesn't protect sides of device
* No backlighting (I don't care that much about this except the Caps Lock key is annoying)
My touch pad is not working and I dont know how to turn it on.. I have tried fn f6 still not working Help
