The most disturbing bit of this movie for me is everyone being swallowed and slowly digested, hearing them scream in agony as it flies around until it is finally silent. I couldn’t stop imaging what what happening to them as they were slowly digested, dissolving but unable to escape, burning with no hope of saving or knowing when it will end. So close to family, but unable to help, see, or comfort each other. Just knowing that you are dying slowly and dissolving. Those screams though, prolonged my discomfort
this is such a good movie omg! the metaphor with the monkey and the alien and how people commidify spectacles and traumatic situations for money, that was genius!!
Gordy’s scenes deeply disturbed me, I can’t explain it. The blood on Gordy, the shoe defying gravity, the way the chimpanzee looks directly at the camera in the beginning of the film😭😭 But fr Jordan is a mastermind, director writer and producer. Triple threat frrr
It's the tone and the restraint. Jordan left enough room for us to fill in the blanks, and whatever we imagine could have possibly been more horrible than what they'd have been allowed to show.
It's so creepy how quiet JJ is and that you can hear the victims screams so clearly. Peele is really good at making unsettling/disturbing stuff not just horror
This movie was soooo good! It was so different than any other alien movie I've watched. It was different because instead of having this alien who was portrayed as a group or individual trying to take over earth, it was just a being trying to survive in an environment. I also loved the Gordy/alien symbolism. Steven Yeun's character definitely felt like he had a special conncetion with the alien/animal and that it wouldn't betray because in the Gordy situation he was the only one left unharmed (physically), but that was not the case. I want to go back to theaters and watch it again!
Hi Chuuzus. Seems like you’re in brighter mood, and I know for a solid fact that’s a good thing. Prioritizing your mental health first can do absolute wonders. I’m hoping you continue to do great cause I know you deserve it.
I loved this movie so much - no one does horror like Jordan Peele His movies are such unique experiences and Nope was my personal favorite one yet He handles the unknown and releasing information to the audience in a way that elevates his movies so so much
You know with some animals. Looking at them in the eyes is a sign of dominance. To them your saying I challenge you, the reason Jupe survived Gordy was because he was focused on the shoe standing up right, so Gordy saw it as a sign of submission but Jupe thought he had a special connection with Gordy and tried to replicate with Jean jacket because he was feeding horses to it. But OJ was taught by his father too respect animals knowing that all animals can either kill you or work with you
This is gonna become one of my favorite movies ever. The writing, the acting, the cinematography, THE LAYERS…Jordan has truly done it again. Excellence. I need Oscar noms for everyone
I love your statement “Is it better than get out? They are different movies.” I think that it is time we realize that as a society and stop comparing films against each other. Performances are different and there should be more awards for acting, music, writing, and casting. Comparing some of these films against each other has become the norm and I truly believe all art should be celebrated.
Fantastic! KeKe is phenomenal, and Daniel does some of the best understated acting I've seen in a bit. I fully agree more of the film should have concentrated on Jupe. Yeun is a phenomenal actor, well and Jupe's (and the whole sitcom thing) story could've been a film in and of itself.
Jordan Peele is such a good director and one of my favorites. He inspires me greatly to try to really get into my dreams films and writing. This movie was cryptic asl though and a few of my friends left the theater and waited outside from pure confusion😂
THIS MOVIE WAS CHEFS KISS!!!! I couldnt' stop talking about keke the whole movie she was just too good! I died at "come out If you're going to come out bitch" .. That barn scene was beyond terrifying!
i am BEYOND excited for this reaction!! I watched this twice in IMAX and girl it was an EXPERIENCE... i think this might be my favourite of his 3 films tbh
After I found out what the UFO's "screeching" actually was, It still gives me chills, and the fact that children were in there too D: even more brutal. Anyways, It's been a long while since I've seen a good Alien film, and I was enjoying every moment of this :) it had a new, interesting take.
Ooh when you dropped this video I was literally on my way to the cinema to see it and I thought it was such a beautiful film. The house scene, hearing the screams of the aliens victims is so horrifying. Really peak horror cinema. Also...I found the Gordy scene to be soooo chilling I reaaaallly didn't want to see what happened but I also was so curious to know more. I wish that that aspect of the story was explored more but overall a fantastic movie. Love your content as always 💗
I'm in love with Angel Torres 😆😍😍😍 I would do anything for my precious baby 🥰🥰 I hope his ex's CW show gets canceled 😂 It's so funny seeing people say this is Keke's "breakout role". She been a staple in my household since I was a kid! I'm like y'all are late to the party lol
This was amazing and usually for me alien abduction movies aren’t really that chilling or interesting to me. But this was really good. I as nervous a little and invested at the same time. I know it’s weird but that’s just me. I wanted to recommend this Korean horror/mystery series on Netflix called The Guest. It’s creepy but not like the conjuring and stuff like that. It’s a different type of creepy. The sound effects and shit really kept my hair standing. I have never seen anyone react to it but I would love to see how you feel about it.
Fun fact- The Gordy the monkey scene in the movie is based on a real chimp named travis. They raised Travis like a human. He murdered its owner and the owners family. This why you should never have an exotic animal as a pet.
I think this is my favorite reaction so far from you Chuuzus! I saw this in theaters and it was such an experience for me because I haven't been to the theater in YEARS. The movie to me was so well done, has a fantastic (and fine) cast, and is so unapologetically Black in so many ways that it warms my heart. (While also stopping it because I hate anything scary.) But seeing you enjoy it as much as I did makes this a comfort video. It feels like we shared an experience and that's so cool to me. 😊
I think Nope and Get Out can't be compared, different genres, ones a horror, ones a sci-fi western (which arguably the genre needed a revamp and Nope is the BEST movie i've seen all year I'd say). I'm a sci-fi nerd, always have been and the idea of aliens on a ranch where nobody can be helped is just my bread and butter. I also loved the siblings, they were so cute but my most horrific moment of the movie was the alien abduction seeing inside what was happening scene i was squriming in my seat in the cinema, it was horrific for me. I hope Jordan Peele moves to more genres because this one was amazing and I'd love for him to tackle something fantasy or full on sci-fi next!
I adored your reaction to this movie. I found your channel recently and you've become one of my favorite reactors instantly. I love your energy and I can't wait for your videos each week💚💚
Hi Chu!! Love seeing you enjoy this amazing film. Everything was on point. Beautiful and terrifying at the same time. Saw it in IMAX (more than twice) and that abduction scene is scary every damn time. I loved watching the alien/entity transform. Like “bitch, you’re gonna look at me.” 😂 Ricky’s storyline really got to me. He survived that massacre (after they tried to tame an animal) and then tried to tame the alien instead of respecting it. It was sad to see in his final moments the realization that he fucccccked up.
@@Chuuzus he’s fine as hell but you and I would be leaving before the show started. Or at the very least when the creature made that noise from the cloud. Nope.

i saw this movie in the theater and i didn’t expect to enjoy it so much, in my opinion i was a little bit scared by it (not a lot), but it’s still a good movie!
Creature is called Oculus nimbus etiquis and it sucks food up through its mouth then crushes them and its stomach to then poop out the metallic waist cannot digest. It may also not be an alien but a native creature to the planet Earth
i love this movie so much! my favorite movie of the year for sure. i enjoy your reaction videos so much i yelled out of excitement when i got the notification for this video 😂
I don't know how much or little it has been talked about but I heard a bit from Bobby Lee on his podcast but Jordan put a little Easter egg in the Jupes office with the poster of Gordy with "MAD" on it. Jordan made himself Gordy to show his frustration with his time at MADtv and how things ended with him. Towards the end of Jordan's reign on MAD he was supposed to transition to SNL but MAD ended screwing up that deal due to contract disputes and scheduling. So I thought that was a fun Easter egg especially with the themes he had in this movie.
This is a great movie. You gave us a great reaction. And you did it again, even though I have seen this movie, and loved it, you make me excited to see it again. Thank you, Chu!!!
There's a shoe in the background of the Gordy scene that is simply standing up, that shoe is a spectacle to Jupe since his eyes were on the shoe and not Gordy hence why why he was left unharmed while the rest of the cast was beaten simply by trying to confront Gordy

Angel knew he probably wasn't going to make it, so he wraps himself in barbed wire trying to kill it from the inside out, after that is when it changed forms as if it was shredded from the inside out.
oh i woke up early for a good movie !! i seen this in theaters and it’s been so long since i’ve been creeped out jordan did amazing yet again but the cast was 100/100 but that’s nothing new

I watched this movie is Cinema a week ago with my family and we all thought the movie was absolutely amazing and if you really know the true meaning behind it you can see that the movie captured that so well definitely one of the best films of the year
I have avoided reactions to this movie as I have not seen it yet. However… I’m about to spoil it for myself because I just love your reactions toooo much!! Much love and peace to you.
You should seriously react to children of men, it's absolutely beautiful, action-packed, emotional, and one of the most realistic post apocalyptic movies ever made.
I watched this in 4DX at the theaters and it was an intense ride literally lol 😂. But this movie was so good the Gordy scene really got me. Loved your reaction can’t wait to see the next one!!

10:56 I kid you not from the little bit I saw of the trailer and your reaction so far I was like why am I getting certain vibes from her character 👀💅 and it's nice to know I still got it lol
Can I just say: I am so excited you have a movie commentary for this movie! NOPE was so interesting I watched it 3 times in the theatre. I can't wait to hear your thoughts ❤️
im serious when i say oj is one of my fav thriller characters because he has the forethought to know that if they didn't try and defend their home they would have nothing to their name and essentially become homeless without even their own clothes on their back in under a night. Oj is so logical and realistic that he was like, the real world and our responsibilities arent just being put on hold because we are dealing with some unfair insane shit. We have to fight or else what we got? and bitch facts loved him
Am I the only one who cringed through out the movie because of the alien because damn whoever designed it deserves an award. I could only look away everytime it appeared on screen because it was so disturbing to look at!!! Especially in its full form, RIP to Jean Jackussy😔
I was fine watching this again with you but the second we got to the scene at Jupiter's Claim I just had to take a long pause. That scene. Gave me the shakes in the movie theater watching this. Literally. For the rest of the movie, I sat there shaking.
So I have not watched this movie yet but now that you've posted a reaction, I need to get on that. I am going to leave a like though, because I know you're going to give me life in your reaction when I watch it.
I freakin' loved this movie, but I don't think it lives up to the perfection of Get Out. I can't see how it's even possible to be better than Get Out. That movie is PERFECT.
I loved your reaction, man. I could see that you really enjoyed the film and recognized that it is a masterpiece. You just need to talk a little less during the scenes to enjoy and absorb the work more properly, but I really loved your reaction!
The most disturbing bit of this movie for me is everyone being swallowed and slowly digested, hearing them scream in agony as it flies around until it is finally silent. You described what made this aspect of the movie so terrifying to a T. Couldn't have worded that better
And that shot inside the alien scared tf out of me, straight nightmare shit
Probably not thinking much since there is so much pain.
Alot of them weren't slowly digested tho. They were squished cause you hear the sound and all the screams went silent.
Yeah but the chimp scene can actually happen and pretty much has. That’s what makes it scarier
this is such a good movie omg! the metaphor with the monkey and the alien and how people commidify spectacles and traumatic situations for money, that was genius!!
YESSS watching this in IMAX was a an experience plss the underlying messages about society’s obsession with spectacle and the media>>>

Honey, I rewatched it yesterday and what a fun yet terrifying ride. I don’t think I ever seen an “alien” movie quite like it either. 🥺😨
i am quite surprise so many film reviewers hated this movie. this is why it’s good to watch a film by yourself and be the judge of it

10:56 I kid you not from the little bit I saw of the trailer and your reaction so far I was like why am I getting certain vibes from her character 👀💅 and it's nice to know I still got it lol
At 32:59 was the akira bike slide, check it out if you haven’t already yet
Why am I just finding out about this reaction now?? I'm HYPED 😆 MALIGNANT NEXT PLEASE!!!!
Great film people didnt like it because they didn't get it smh a damn shame. This is I why I love your channel...you just get it
i watched this for the first time a few days ago and i was literally hoping youd do a reaction omgg
Can I just say: I am so excited you have a movie commentary for this movie! NOPE was so interesting I watched it 3 times in the theatre. I can't wait to hear your thoughts ❤️
Yayyyyyyy!!...always getting goosebumps whenever I see ur notifications 😂😂❤️❤️
you are always so quick with the reactions! love your channel and ur growth yup!
im serious when i say oj is one of my fav thriller characters because he has the forethought to know that if they didn't try and defend their home they would have nothing to their name and essentially become homeless without even their own clothes on their back in under a night. Oj is so logical and realistic that he was like, the real world and our responsibilities arent just being put on hold because we are dealing with some unfair insane shit. We have to fight or else what we got? and bitch facts loved him
Love all the jump scares in this or they make they think one thing is happening then something else happens from left field lol
Can I just say how much I enjoy your videos you do such a great job entertaining, keep at it your amazing 💕💕💕💕
Am I the only one who cringed through out the movie because of the alien because damn whoever designed it deserves an award. I could only look away everytime it appeared on screen because it was so disturbing to look at!!! Especially in its full form, RIP to Jean Jackussy😔
Just saw this yesterday and woke up to your notification today, love you Chu!
J'aime ce film, je l'ai vu au cinéma ! Le décor, les acteurs ! Magnifique 🖤
I was fine watching this again with you but the second we got to the scene at Jupiter's Claim I just had to take a long pause. That scene. Gave me the shakes in the movie theater watching this. Literally. For the rest of the movie, I sat there shaking.
I agree with your Oscar nomination choices one hundred percent! (Also now glad i moved away from toronto where that thing “would eat well!”) 😄✌🏻
Rewatching your reaction! I saw this movie 🍿 in National Cinema Day 🎉 Best Choice Ever Made!!!
i absolutely adore you, youre so cute and HILARIOUS. I be feeling like I'm on facetime wit you watching it together 😭
So I have not watched this movie yet but now that you've posted a reaction, I need to get on that. I am going to leave a like though, because I know you're going to give me life in your reaction when I watch it.
one of my fav movies of all time.
I love how fruity KeKe’s character is 🙈😍
I freakin' loved this movie, but I don't think it lives up to the perfection of Get Out. I can't see how it's even possible to be better than Get Out. That movie is PERFECT.
Keke Palmer is top tier!
I loved your reaction, man. I could see that you really enjoyed the film and recognized that it is a masterpiece. You just need to talk a little less during the scenes to enjoy and absorb the work more properly, but I really loved your reaction!
I watched a few days ago and it's amazing!!!
Also, are you gonna watch The sandman?
