I have seen Strates rides and game, food joints set up on the midway once. Absolutely beautiful midway all the way down to the kiddie rides. I was a ride operator for a few smaller shows. Henry T. Cole Shows for 3 seasons and winter quarters, Mid-West Amusements and Windy City Amusements and one season with The Mighty Bluegrass Show. Retired now but always "with it and for it"
Or they're just restruant depot frozen fries. Let's be real. Prolly cheaper that way.....fountain soda was a big seller and the 5$ refillable large cup that nobody refills. We sold 5$ "fresh squeezed lemonade. Which was country time with a half a lemon squeezed into it. Lol. It's carnival food.
