- “Extra’s” Renee Bargh caught up with Adam Sandler and Idina Menzel to talk about their new movie “Uncut Gems.”
Adam revealed she took him by surprise when she pretended to punch him during a heated argument. Idina said they were ad-libbing and she thought she would try to impress Sandler by doing something spontaneous. Watch!

The scene where she pretends to punch IS a really well-acted scene.
It is by far my favorite scene. It is so rare to show that point in a marriage, where there is so much hatred and poisonous behavior in the relationship. The wife is almost in a mania, kinda shocked, like she can't even believe she ever loved him. Movies always show the second chance, instead of someone so tired because they have already given a million second chances, with no changed results.
They make a realistic family in the movie it’s very believable 👍🏼💗

At 3:27 you can just BARELY for a MOMENT see Idina roll her eyes at the interviewer for repeating what she just said XD
Who can say this: Idina goes from an ice queen to the wife of an impulsive, incredibly foul-mouthed jewel store owner.
Damn good movie..jus saw it last night dude just couldn't catch a fucking break..this was definitely a true story for someone.
