Man that radio is a marvel of Electro Mechanical Construction! Ive used wd40 in the past on switches and I don't recommend using wd40 on modern stuff like this. That contact cleaner you are using is better! It wont be long you will have it working like new again!
Now if i could somehow come up with a better outside case would be awesome, but never the less, at the least the inside will work as it should even tho the outside looks like total trash. LOL ;-)
