I think that's bad, because railguns are designed for long range, and if you fight with short range turret you will definitely lose. Sledgehammer 2.0 🤣

The meaning of the negative effects. For context, Railgun essentially has 3 parts in terms of damage.
Max damage -> Decreasing Damage -> Weak Damage. By default Weak is usually 50%.
Range of Max Decrease essentially means that the point at which damage drop off takes effect is a lot closer.
Range of Min Decrease is the point where the damage done is at its minimum but before weak damage. Weak damage, or 50% damage is done when the shot completely exceeds the range of minimum normal damage.
Think of Weak Damage as like complete damage drop off, and with this augment it happens a lot closer than usual.
Railgun is so popular turret thats why there's so many protections. It has been used a lot for years because people like itt and everyone has gotten protection against it. It's also pretty op because of it's critical rate, that happens like every 3 shots
I don't even use railgun protections because everyone literally uses round destabilization, which is hard to counter
This augmment is like the reverse of hyperspeed, but the range is so much worse 💀 tanki really thought they were cooking with this augment

As a railgun guy,that augment id awful, people are using railgun protection,so i prefer hyperspace rounds, multiple shots=dead machine

It was an interesting idea, could've had a bit more damage instead of being a complete mirrored copy of hyperspeed. Could've really used some compensation for being a close range augment

There's an augment that I got for railgun and its legendary and it's so much better than this close range asS augment, I can kill people with 50 protection in one shot sometimes

I want this so bad because i like using railgun dynamically, not just for Camping. Im so mad, railgun is my Favorite turret and i just got all the Status Effect augments which are garbage now considering the crit effect does -90% damage 💀 i tried Adrenalin and i think it’s really underrated
Round destabilization remains the best augment in my opinion because 50% cc means you basically ignore 50 prot

Getting close against melee/fast reload turrets while using a slow reload turret is scary unless you have a guaranteed one-shot killer.
Ya, nowadays you get groups which are too bad. Sometimes you get group filled with campers in a CTF where opponents play CTF and your group assumes it is a TDM and looses match, some times you get freshers who buy ranks and get into team. Many times, your team mates turn out to be worst nightmare in pushing you and doing others stuff than your opponents
I got this augment, and yes it is strong, but its main problem is that every battle I entering there's at least 5 protections from Railgun, and sometimes even 8 and that makes it not so useful... 😓
If tanki was making this critical damage also 50% stronger like Large Calibre, maybe it was more useful😕

i started using hyperspace, and my kd went up from .80 to 1.3 in 2 months, btw i am at legend 17 with 90k kills.

maybe read their description? Hyperspeed regular damage if -50% but this one is +50%
@@percyjackson583well yeah, but hyper speed shells give you+300% weak damage. At that point I feel like it doesn't matter what kind of damage your taking about. 300% is just stupid.

They're using railgun protections because railgun and magnum are massively overused. Legends and teamwork....😂. It's usually bad, but during events it's practically non-existent. There are too many times when enemy tanks and team tanks act exactly alike.
I want scorpion xt but I swear if I get this augment I'm quiting, also we only got 3 ultra containers like what??? We used to get 15 but now we will only get 3? Bruh, also I regret using 990tanki coins for the esports tanki fund bc we won't get anywhere, the only skin we will get is gauss gt, also I hate tanki developers etc.. They are scammers

Nice! Now not only the augment is, AGAIN, meant to be useful mostly with Crisis, but the augment itself actually makes sense somewhat at its core. Again, until the devs start really tackling the problem of 50% prot being unnecessarily high and finally decide to rework some things at their core, like % of protections and firing rate + DPS from some turrets, new augments will just keep piling up in the trash can only to be retrieved once in a million years for the memes. Is it that difficult to create a new game mode called something along the lines of "Anything goes" where to play with the stupid Crisis and Trickster, 50% protections, Pulsar augments, Hopper and whatnot, whilst BANNING all of those from MM and making it an actual playable meta for most, if not all, augments and game plans?
Dude just stop creating new stuff that on paper attempts to patch up the huge gap between augments and drones and, in reality, does nothing but overload the game with unsubale tools that need to get reworked over and over again to fit in the meta and still can't get s*ht done.

I don’t think it’s that good at all. Why would anyone want to use an augment that’s not meant for that type of turret. That would be like giving Salvo Shots/Rounds to Isida. It just wouldn’t work that great.
