      I feel really my tastebuds would like to try the pizza with the meatballs. And the grean peas pizza and and i wish to eat all 6 😄. Nardo is also a name of a district in Trondheim/ Norway, where i come from.

    Thank you for this. Our family has an annual trip to Disneyland and we had some time on our hands so we checked our Nardo. Party of 16 and it did not disappoint. It was fantastic. It was the softest crust I have had. We go to Lovelys 50/50 in Portland (which we love) but this was a bit better.

    I recently visited Pizza Sei and Nardo.
    Pizza Sei is really amazing! However Nardo was a little disappointing, they burned our pizza and my wife's was not so great. Maybe we were unlucky that day

      I think Nardò is not good at all. I went there myself after seeing this video and as someone who has been raised in Italy, Nardò failed to resemble a neapolitan pizza. Crust was excessively chewy, not a bit of crunch and tomato sauce used excessively.

    Had to try the pizza inside Eataly after seeing this. We had the margarita and a calzone. The margarita was perfect, but as good as it was, we like the calzone even better. It had ham and ricotta in it. Thank you for the inside, next on my list is pizzeria sei.

    Hi vito!! I watch your video for a long time..i'm facing verry problem with pizza dough. summer time my pizza was good but now in winter pizza not coming out good.. i also make pies thats why i need to put too much oil in pizza dough. If i never put extra oil in pizza dough my pies come out good and soft??

    Hi Vito, How much fresh yeast should I use to replace the instant dry yeast when I make pizza poolish? Ex: 5 grams dry yeast x 300 grams flour x 300 ml water. How much fresh yeast for the same amount of poolish ?

      The fresh yeast is 3 times weaker then dry yeast

    I concur completely with previous comment about correcting Gio about feeling the need to make bone headed outburst that he repeatedly makes at each location! I admire and have learned a great deal from Vito, so hearing his remarks made me cringe. Gio is failing to understand that each place has a very unique preparation, technique and style that is different from Vito's, and that doesn't equate to being BETTER than Our Beloved Maestro! The pizza stretching, the use of a handful different flours and parm-pecorino combo used by the second chef, was surely interesting to Vito. The last pizza place used a 72% HYDRATION!!! Vito clearly gave all three the seal of approval by saying they were deliciously soft and crunchy. I'm not saying to cut the guy loose immediately, maybe give him a script next time and go from there. Thanks for an incredible video and recommendations!

    ​Appolonias is the best LA pizza spot hands down. Antica Pizzeria de Michele is the best pizza place in LA for neapolitan.

    Naples style has no crunch. Sauce and cheese are good, but I like some crunch and more New Haven or New York style.

    When I lived in Long Beach CA in the 80’s I used to complain that there was no place to get a good pizza. Regardless if it was NY style or Neapolitan, I couldn’t find one. then someone introduced us to a bk alley place called Enricos or something like that. Omg. Right before my hubby was transferred bk to the east coast we found this place. It was traditional Italian style. Not a lot of herbs. A little basil and EVOO. Now I’m bk in OH and we have places claiming to be NY or Neapolitan style 👎🏾 yuck. Now I’m so jealous of the pizza places I see popping up in LA. Maybe Covid did a good thing out there and shut all those high priced pineapple, avocado, and on and on style pizza places down and the real Italian hole in the wall places were able to come bk to life. Thanks Vito. Oh by the way how was ur grand opener today?

    My kids and I went to the pizza place in eataly (thanks to this channel) during our LA vacation and my younger son thought it was the best Neapolitan pizza that he had ever tried in his life (simple margarita). He has tried dozens of place and this will always be most memorable for him.

    Vito thanks for the great video, i was just shocked by the price for a marinara or a margherita. Here in vienna we some great pizza places with real authentic neapolitan pizza and they charge only 6 to 10 dollars for the same stuff, maybe you could come and check them out ;D

    Mi sono fermato da Nardò sul mio tragitto per San Diego e sono rimasto molto deluso. Pizza super gommosa che non aveva nulla a che fare con la pizza napoletana. Per non parlare della passata di pomodoro in eccesso sulla margherita. Locale pienissimo ma se dobbiamo adeguarci agli standard americani che mangiano qualsiasi cosa, allora sì la pizza è buona.

    #LAPizzaFail HaHa No......Prince Street Pizza in Beverly Hills. Spicy Spring Square slice (pepperoni cups). It is a NYC LA transplant.
    My paisano's own Valentino's Pizza in Manhattan Beach. Order by the slice or a whole pie. They make a heart-shaped pizza too.. Brooklyn-style thin crust pizza and thick square Sicilian slices. Good Italian heroes too. Valentino's Family is from Brooklyn, NYC.

    Am I the only one that really hates these "sloppy" pizzas? If you take a slize with your hand, a lot of the toppings fall off etc.

    Scrap these garbage pizzerias. DaMichele Antica Pizzeria in Hollywood is the only one making a very good Neapolitan pizza in LA. Pizza is always good and so these ones can be a good backup plan. And I am not from Puglia or whatever. I am from Napoli.
