Yeah the fact that as soon as the airport was open people came over and basically gave him everything he needed really ruined it for me, stopped watching as soon as he was gifted the golden shovel - doesn’t really feel like a true speed run.
Half the speedrun is the freaking loading screen and animals saying pointless stuff that can't be skipped. Also Crunchy Island is doing all the stuff! Why doesn't this channel have more subs? Have you seen the villager race/mazes? Incredible!

While this is pretty cool and props to you for being really good at this, I feel like it would be much more interesting of a speedrun if you didn't get any online help from your friends. It would definitely add more time onto it but through small optimizations and strategies I think it could be pulled off. Good job though and great video.
I literally spent 10 months figuring out that I’m not the resident representative and that’s why I can’t do all the funky cool stuff everyone else is doing. The actual resident representative is my brother who quit the game after 5 weeks of playing

I kind of agree actually! This definitely wasnt the way the game was meant to be played. Playing this way definitely takes so much of the fun out of it! I was just interested in seeing what the absolute fastest time you could beat the game in was based on the criteria of everything that needs to be done to reach 3 stars. But clearly, by the end, this island does not look good or even deserve 3 stars! I didnt even enter Nooks cranny, or even open my critterpedia/DIY app during the whole speedrun. I dont think I even chopped a single tree! I definitely had more fun playing the game over time on my original switch/island.

VJ make sure you planted 200 flowers, used all ur fences, put out some decorations and have the max amount of villagers that u can have
VJ / make hybrids that’s how i got 3 stars
Paige u don’t need all of the villagers, just sell all 3 homes Tom nook asks you to do. I only had 7 villagers when I got kk to come to my island

Sound quality in this game is amazing, I honestly thought it had started raining outside first time it rained in game.
