You popped this off at the right time! I just bought a nice little lot of King Size Matchboxes I've always wanted to own. Not in mint condition, but good to add into my collection until I can afford nicer condition ones.

Hey Odawg lets goooo!! Matchbox..what we really all grew up with but wont admit lol. As a kid I remember getting to pick out my Matchbox in a store that had the 75 car display...i want number 69 ..boom pulls out the car in the box behind the case . O DAWG ..I guess someone heard my constant complaining of never finding STHs WelLP ! Last night at my block away doller store they got a 2025 case ...not a 2023 case this time. Lol Bam! SuPER TH And i belive the most gorgeous 2025 STH the Hirohata MERC in that spectraflame purple. Im going to open it eventually as it will be the second one i ever open an a awsome match to the 49 purple ford truck from couple years back ...they will look insane together. Got the reg TH too .an some missing 2025 i was hoping to find ..so nice to get first shot at a new case ..dosen't happen often anymore .
I never knew about the super kings as a kid. Boy did i miss out! I used to have the blue shark but it was already minus the engine and driver, my all time favorite
I remember having most of those from the catalogue. Matchbox cars were some of the best for play value followed by Majorette. If it doesnt have opening doors or hood, its no fun.
It’s funny how Matchbox up-scaled their 1/64 models to make the 1/43 versions and Corgi down-scaled their 1/43 cars to produce the 1/64 versions for the Corgi Juniors range
I have many videos in my Hot Wheels Year-By-Year collections, featuring every model produced by Hot Wheels from 1974 and onwards. There are many Blackwalls and Redlines in these videos, I hope you enjoy!
Love it. Have a delayed Xmas package coming soon due to the postal strike not allowing me to send it before Xmas keep up the amazing videos and collection the gas station kits will go nicely with what's comming
Wow! Exciting news for a new Mystery Box opening video! Thanks so very much Steven! The gas station you sent me will be in one of the upcoming videos for sure, and I haven't forgotten about building the kits you sent me a long time ago... It's on my to-do list for videos!!!
17:40 why are chipped up old cars people's boogeyman, i dont get it. i collect all brands and all conditions and if i dont have a car that i get, it's treated like royalty no matter what shape it is in, and is fully documented, until i can afford or come across a nicer condition model to replace it. could be months, weeks, decades, years, never know. ive got redlines that are $800 loose mint for just less than $5 in junk lots, and i know damn well i'll never be able to afford those mint, so i cherish them
I treat all of my cars like royalty as well, I just don't have room to display wrecked toys anymore with all of the minty stuff I have accumulated over the last 25 years of collecting. I love cars of all condition, but I am running out of room for storage too!
3:50 So does it means you will get rid of all your Matchbox cars or only the duplicates? Could be a good idea to also get rid of too many duplicates from hot wheels. Clear space for the future.
They don't take up that much space and I keep my duplicates too. They still cost money and you won't get any money for them. Also with old Lesneys you have to pay careful attention to casting changes through the production runs. Like stamps, they have a lot of small variations, people collect those.
I will sort out most of my duplicates and many others that are in too rough of condition for my display walls (out of room!) and announce a sale or prize contest here on my channel sometime in the future. I will keep my old Hot Wheels duplicates, for now, as I am extra nostalgic for them.
@ I agree and I do get that loose cars take less space than carded ones. I keep some duplicates too. But sometime it is good to ask the question as a collector as the years passed. Do we realy need 50-100 of the same thing without variations?
@@TheKingRacer007 No lol But what else can you do with them? And you still spent money on them, so that's where that issue arises. And nobody else will appreciate them, so you feel like you're saving them.
Your matchbox collection is cool
Wow, your collection is amazing
Thanks! It's been a long journey collecting these.
Lots of well loved castings in the there! Brought back some fond memories. Thanks O-Dawg!
Happy New Year! Glad to have you back for 2025.
I appreciate the kind words, Happy New Year to you too!

Yesteryear models in standard colours are really inexpensive to collect now. Go for it!

Who else loves wtffor
какой прикол иметь несколько одинаковых моделей в коллекции?
In this case, more is better!
