I know, nintendo didn’t do any of their brand games for sale upon Wii u’s eshop closure but other companies like capcom did do 99 cent sales on Wii U in the last days. I got some of those deals on Wii U and 3DS. But was hoping nintendo would have their games in sale but it didn’t happen.

Microsoft make a Xbox sale without any Microsoft games… I am glad that some thirdparties give us great discounts but ashame Microsoft themself didn’t. At least make a sale with the Kinect ones or the Xbox OG ones for example they still have on the store Spyro for the Xbox OG, etc.

a note about Trials Fusion. Amazing game and worth your money, but the servers for it have been down for months. apparently someone from Ubisoft responded, though, and said they are working to restore them
When I try to update my credit card on my 360, I get an error, so I decided to log into the Xbox 360 marketplace on my PC and it took me like 30 minutes to successfully log in because the website keeps crashing, and after I finally made it, it needed me to login again to buy a game, which asked me to verify my account with another email, which sent the verify code to that emails junk folder(even though it's a Microsoft email account). Now the website crashed again and it's been about an hour. Anyone else experiencing this?

Just wait and see the network crash on these two dates. It has been choking on me here in NA lately after work hours. Unprecedented sale for sure! Honestly never saw this coming (Who tha h3ll knew?). Thinking they are sprinkling some “good will” because they surely need it right now.

I'll keep checking on the sale. None of these appeal to me (aside from the ones I have already). I did buy pretty much everything I wanted during that generation, though.
These videos have been quite helpful. And might suggest Renegade OPs a top-down twin stick shooter, Section 8 and Prejudice FPSs kind of a halo/battlefield mix. And finally, Darkstalkers Resurrection a fighting game. And if you like Kinect both Gunstringer, Kinect party the double fine one, sesame street once upon a monster I see as hidden gems on the Kinect. I believe them to be competent games worth looking into especially if on sale. Also, the online multiplayer is dead for these games and both Section 8s lack a local multiplayer.

Thanks for another great video Arthur! This sale was certainly unexpected. So many games dropped all at once it's a struggle to research them all. Was looking into Alone In the Dark. Apparently the PS3 version came out some time after the 360/ PC version and fixed a lot of the bugs and control issues. I'm glad to hear you speak so highly of the 360 release. I may jump on that one. You'd think it was unplayable from comments. Rise of the Tomb Raider for the 360 is not the best version of the game but is supposed to be interesting as sort of an impossible port. I think it was supposed to have been done by the same team that did the really nice version of Tomb Raider 2013 for the PS3. It unfortunately does not have all the DLC you can find in gen8 ports.

Interesting fact (Or maybe I'm just an idiot): When trying to buy these via a web browser a lot of the games seem to no longer show up when searching for them on the Xbox store. But if you google search them with 360 at the end of the search string you can find a direct link to these versions of the games. This is how I managed to buy Kane & Lynch: Dead Men (USA) Though sometimes I had to try buying a few of these games 10+ times before it actually went through. The store has been temperamental like that for a long time now.
Thanks Doer! You can buy them through Microsoft's website, yes. You will need a credit cardof that same region, which may be problematic for some. Paypal many times is not working, but its on a case by case.
Most of the most representative games of Xbox 360 are already backward compatible, there are very few left to be backward compatible and Xbox already said that it is going to add more pd I made a list of the games that remain to be backward compatible on Xbox 360 and with a cost it reaches one page on one side :)
No one knows which games will be added in the next two sale refresh dates. Fingers crossed! Stay tuned and I will let you know once any more games are added

A sale of non forwards compatible games is always welcome, but as a pc player the only two games on this list that are worth my money are Black Knight Sword and Mini Ninjas Kinect, the rest of them are either mediocre or available for lower price when on sale on steam. Anyway I hope th sales coming up include actually good non backwards compatible games like Call of Duty Classic, Gun, Chronicles of Riddick, The Dishwasher, Burnout 3, South Park Tower Defense, Sonic & All-Stars Racing w/Banjo Kazooie, Crash Bandicoot WOC, Street Fighter III OE, Darkstalkers Resurrection, Street Fighter X Tekken, etcetera... It'd be great if Capcom and Activision put their games on sale. Edit: Capcom games are currently on sale baby!!!
I feel like in time capsula because I was here last year in March and spent way too much money on the Nintendo eShop. I don’t think my wallets will hurt as much this time, but Xbox is my main system and I’ll definitely get a few games from this list. I strongly consider Alone in the Dark, Gothic 4, Worms Revolution, Cloudberry Kingdom, Zeit^2, Legend of Kay, Dark Messiah and Risen 3 from this list. Risen 3 is a weird one because 1+2 are backwards compatible, but 3 is not.
It looks like this will only work on an actual 360, which may not be something I can set up this month. Oh well, I guess there will always be torrents and emulation if Microsoft doesn't want my money.
Ok, I have to be doing something wrong, or some big idiot despite being involved in this hobby since the 80's. I go to find these games to purchase and they do not showup when searching for them on the Xbox Store. If I google the game it returns a link to the Xbox 360 marketplace and when I click to purchase it takes me to another Xbox page with a list of games but not the game I am looking for. Has anyone else ran into this problem?

Most of them are not on the Series X, yeah. The ones near the end, in the final time stamp of the video are, and a few other ones during the video. Yeah, its less than ideal, but note that the same kind of thing will happen on playstation too. And it will be much worse. MOST PS3 and Vita games were not made available in any newer playstation system. Everyone expects Sony to shut down the PS3 and PS Vita digital stores soon. Thats going to be a much bigger mess.
Coll, thanks for confirming! It seems that the game is region sensitive. I am in Brazil but my Xbox region is the US. This game is apparently not available in Brazil so i'd need to use a VPN. Weird case.

Can you do shumps on xbox 360 that are not on ps3 I think some Dodon Pachi are on xbox 360. Or older games from older generations that were rereleased on Xbox. Like beyond good n evil, and rayman 3 etc
Just downloaded Enemy front yesterday is good so far not perfect the enemy ai is not smart in some parts they'll just run straight to you, ilke how you can take hostage to your advantage all in all just give me wwII game is good to me
Only Arkane Austin was closed down by Microsoft. Arkane had multiple studios, so they're still around. Also, Legend of Kay has some of the worst voice acting I have ever heard, and not even in the "so bad it's good way". The main character especially is so awful I had to switch the voices to German just so I wouldn't have to suffer. Oh, and thanks for a great vid! :)
Arkane is still in existence. Only the Arkane Austin studio, which produced the catastrophic 'Redfall', has been shuttered. When you go that badly wrong there tend to be consequences.

For Error Code 80150017, you may have to use a VPN. In order to connect to the correct region so that you can download/play the game.
RUclips needs to call off its AI copyright dogs or they're gonna erase a bunch of RUclips history.

@@Dave-ce8co they are not taking down any 360 games from being purchasable on the Xbox One or Series store. Note that NOT ALL 360 games made their way to the newer systems though

A sale of non forwards compatible games is always welcome, but as a pc player the only two games on this list that are worth my money are Black Knight Sword and Mini Ninjas Kinect, the rest of them are either mediocre or available for lower price when on sale on steam. Anyway I hope th sales coming up include actually good non backwards compatible games like Call of Duty Classic, Gun, Chronicles of Riddick, The Dishwasher, Burnout 3, South Park Tower Defense, Sonic & All-Stars Racing w/Banjo Kazooie, Crash Bandicoot WOC, Street Fighter III OE, Darkstalkers Resurrection, Street Fighter X Tekken, etcetera... It'd be great if Capcom and Activision put their games on sale.

I feel like in time capsula because I was here last year in March and spent way too much money on the Nintendo eShop. I don’t think my wallets will hurt as much this time, but Xbox is my main system and I’ll definitely get a few games from this list. I strongly consider Alone in the Dark, Gothic 4, Worms Revolution, Cloudberry Kingdom, Zeit^2, Legend of Kay, Dark Messiah and Risen 3 from this list. Risen 3 is a weird one because 1+2 are backwards compatible, but 3 is not.

It looks like this will only work on an actual 360, which may not be something I can set up this month. Oh well, I guess there will always be torrents and emulation if Microsoft doesn't want my money.
You can also do it using the xbox marketplace site. Only credit cards will work there if Im nor mistaken

Ok, I have to be doing something wrong, or some big idiot despite being involved in this hobby since the 80's. I go to find these games to purchase and they do not showup when searching for them on the Xbox Store. If I google the game it returns a link to the Xbox 360 marketplace and when I click to purchase it takes me to another Xbox page with a list of games but not the game I am looking for. Has anyone else ran into this problem?

Most of them are not on the Series X, yeah. The ones near the end, in the final time stamp of the video are, and a few other ones during the video. Yeah, its less than ideal, but note that the same kind of thing will happen on playstation too. And it will be much worse. MOST PS3 and Vita games were not made available in any newer playstation system. Everyone expects Sony to shut down the PS3 and PS Vita digital stores soon. Thats going to be a much bigger mess.

Coll, thanks for confirming! It seems that the game is region sensitive. I am in Brazil but my Xbox region is the US. This game is apparently not available in Brazil so i'd need to use a VPN. Weird case.

Most of these are unfortunatly not playable on the series. I included the availability of each game in the cards at the end of each timestamp.

Just downloaded Enemy front yesterday is good so far not perfect the enemy ai is not smart in some parts they'll just run straight to you, ilke how you can take hostage to your advantage all in all just give me wwII game is good to me

Only Arkane Austin was closed down by Microsoft. Arkane had multiple studios, so they're still around. Also, Legend of Kay has some of the worst voice acting I have ever heard, and not even in the "so bad it's good way". The main character especially is so awful I had to switch the voices to German just so I wouldn't have to suffer. Oh, and thanks for a great vid! :)

Arkane is still in existence. Only the Arkane Austin studio, which produced the catastrophic 'Redfall', has been shuttered. When you go that badly wrong there tend to be consequences.
