Why don’t artists allow freedom of speech? If a Podcaster wants to critique your album then let them. The moment an artist is all in their feelings and gets salty is the moment they lose all credibility and respect. A mid album needs to be called out. We’re not all sheeps!!!
It's not a censorship issue. Joe is free to speak, Drake is free to speak in response. When an artist makes a project and pours heart and soul into it, hearing critiques can sting a bit, even if they are valid.

Great breakdown Joe! Spittin facts!!
I gotta say: The wherewithal to talk during the song play is genius. Then having Parks put the compressor on to reduce the song audio for the youtube playback. No one else is doing it like this. Best production in podcasting.
Idk what any of that means but you can def. Hear the difference 🫡🫡 to Parks
Drake told Melissa to stay home
@@aj2468ironically, no one cares what it means. But it sounds phenomenal. That's all that matters lol
Straight facts
He saying they record for the podcast and the youtube at the same time cuz if u go listen on apple podcast or wherever else u can hear the music play while they talking. On youtube because of copyright strikes they cant play music but the pod is reacting to the music so for youtube u only hear commentary but if u listen on the pod side of things its an amazing product they are putting out
Joe response was classy, however, we fully expect you to pump it up next pod my guy. Cant let Drizzianna get that off😂
Me waiting for the next pod ep🤌🏾. This will give us an additional 2023 Drake album
Oh he patiently waiting for a Pod to explode on

Why drake mad? Joe literally gave him alot of praise and a small criticism and drake wrote a paragraph crying...dawwggg cmon😂😂😂😂😂
Joe is the drake of this pod shit - too methodical in his craft. The clip he put out was exactly what the streets was gon react too. Now it is hilarious to see how much praise he offered drake😂
This episode in hindsight is funny as hell 😂
Joe said the same exact shit that EVERYONE else is saying. It just hurt drakes feelings kuz his platform is so big. Drake, Your Album was MID bro.. full of skips. Truth hurts bruh.
It must be this annoying, confusing generation that we're living in right now where freedom of speech is more like an invitation to a lengthy jail sentence or unnecessary lawsuit, but I see nothing wrong with what Joe said about Drake and his album🤷🏿♂️
what did he even say?
Drake even came for parks which is crazy😂😂😂😂😂

Joe you kill the intro everytime 🔥🔥🔥😭
love you Mel, feel better💙👸🏽
The critique had Drake in his feelings for real😂
Damn Aubrey finally showed his sensitivity. These “celebs” really show how emotionally immature they can be over an album review. What’s the purpose of putting an album out for ppl to spend their money on if you don’t want them to have an opinion? I heard WORST takes regarding this album from ppl other than Joe. His views take was way worst than this and this the review you get upset about? The album is CLEARLY not his best work or project. You mad about the opinion or that you know it’s mid?? Smfh lol docket comment? Lol 😅😂
*Finally* shows his sensitivity? He’s *BEEN* shown it his whole career. It seems to be getting “worse” lately though. He did something similar when Anthony Fantano gave Honestly Nevermind a bad review last year (and ended up making *himself* looking whack in the process). He did it to Charlamagne a week or two ago (but not even close to this extreme he went to with Joe). It’s (almost) a little concerning. It’s late for him to be going off like this in reaction to mild criticism.
@@wahoo4uvayou beat me to it I was just about to say, FINALLY!?!? Lmao. Aubrey been acting like this his whole career. 😂
Imagine putting your heart and soul into a project and the biggest platform in the world says it’s ass… the one guy saying it’s ass just so happens to be ass at what he is saying is ass
When your music or art is reviewed by someone who does not like you .. then the TRUTH isn't received because of the person who delivers it.
Big facts bro
"Kendrick talking shit to everybody in the world but a nigga named Jermaine"
LMFAO. I never realized how true this shit is
K would wash J.
@@001SBUCKtoday? I wouldn't be so sure.
Yea that’s not a guarantee. I think kdot was harder than cole for many years. But the past few years I think jermaine has switched positions. (Pause). THIS cole really can’t be beaten.
@@chriscraddock2867 not only that, J Cole turned into a new guy damn near lol, but also in the same amount of time Kendrick went even further into his isolated artsy shit which is cool, we love it, makes for great albums, BUT is he ready for Cole level rappin competition? a fancy hook wont get you outta that one 😂
@@001SBUCK Kendrick has seemingly abandoned punchlines and haymakers in recent years. Not saying he doesn't have that in his arsenal, but it's no where near as potent as it once was.
Cole has transformed his bars. I can now see him in the discussion for attending the ceremony of Punchline Kings alongside Big L, Big Pun, Jadakiss, Styles P, and Ice Cube (Imo Jada and Styles are still front runners of that)
THIS AGED PERFECTLY 😂
Locking a regular Wednesday episode behind paywall is nasty work.
Joe owns a modest home in the 973…that’s insane when that’s a diss..for the everyday man, owning property in West orange, Montclair, Bloomfield is a the epitome of success 😂
Bruh like Bergen county isn’t amongst the top 5 wealthiest counties in America 😂 like you just reaching like Joe couldn’t live in Paris if he chose 😂
True, but it was fun to watch someone call Joe broke like he does the average citizen every day. Lol!

The introduction of each podcast cast members was legendary For the remainder of podding they all must continue these introductions
Watching the full pod I think his response was extreme
Best pod in awhile, just the fellas doing barbershop talk. Salute.
Joe gave much more love than hate here.
For those who remember episode 64, this criticism was light
No Rory no show
Taking a trip in the time machine(youtube) as we type 😂
Funny that was 64 and this one is 664 😂
Drakes reaction to Joe’s comments is a prime a example of an artist who is no longer in his prime and having trouble accepting it. The last 4 albums…..drake has not broken any new ground…..just sticking to the same formula……but forgetting that nothing last forever.
Drakes music will last for ever
💯💯 @Woktoharlem
Nothing was ever the same except the music and effort 😂

You now understand why Kendrick said: he tucked a sensitive rapper back in his Pajama clothes. Even though Joe budden wasn't successful in rap you cannot deny his skill as a lyrical rapper and honest constructive criticism. That was a sissy move from Drake in that insta post.

I would pay top dollar for Joe’s book on Self-Control. To be gracious enough not to get on Flip , but to let his ignorance and obvious lack of maturity, just fester and fill the space without the impulse to correct him is amazing to me. Thank you Joe♥️
U glazin
You sound like one of them old haters
With Drake dissing Budden the way he did I feel Budden should come out of retirement just for one song why the whole world watchin.. Do it on the 8 Am in Charlotte instrumental we deserve it..
Joe over that beat would be crazy
He would never, budden too busy to go back in the booth for the boy
He did that already 🤷🏿♂️
Another 3 hour episode lets gooo JBP
Why don’t artists allow freedom of speech? If a Podcaster wants to critique your album then let them. The moment an artist is all in their feelings and gets salty is the moment they lose all credibility and respect. A mid album needs to be called out. We’re not all sheeps!!!
eminem the same exact way
Are you new here? Artists are sensitive
They don't have the power to refuse or allow freedom of speech.
The problem is not our opinion is the fact that we don’t want people react to it or expect consequences
It's not a censorship issue. Joe is free to speak, Drake is free to speak in response. When an artist makes a project and pours heart and soul into it, hearing critiques can sting a bit, even if they are valid.
That boy said this ain’t for the dogs this for the pups 😭😭😭😭
“and we like it !!” 😤😤😤🤣🤣🤣🤣
joe's intro 🤣 y "youve seen him on def jam vendetta" parks killed me with that

A major difference in marriage and a long term relationship is when it's not working or seem to not be working. Its ALOT easier to end a long term relationship than it is to end a marriage. I've had both and never in any of my long term relationships did I feel like I was hopelessly stuck or guilty for wanting to end things. I felt both in my marriage.
Mel was smart to not pull up to the pod. She knew the drake pressure was coming 😅😅
"He walked him to his car..." bro Cole be riding bikes out here 😭🤣
Man if there isn't anything going on behind the scenes that Drake reaponse came from a place of hurt 😂 this is just regular Joe Budden critiquing an album
As an avid Drake fan, and Joe Budden fan. I agree with Joe's opinion but it's just an opinion, to each their own. If Drake wants to be hanging with the younger crowd, and making that kinda music that's his right. It would be nice to hear a full "rap" album and hear some "mature", introspective, and "real life" music, which he does make but without the mix of influence we've been hearing as of late.
Well said my brother
J Cole “Wake forest Demon Deacon” double entendre was so fire that it went over a lot of people’s heads
I missed it....Help me out homie
Yeah what’s that about???
there’s a college in North Carolina called Wake Forest.. CP3 went there, etc, wel anyways their mascot is the “ demon deacons “ so cole was basically saying he’ll send his demons to tha wake, etcetc
Born in Fayettenam Saw him at the show in Charlotte. Went to college in Greensboro and currently living Raleigh.
Drake doesn't hit the same because his sound has been absorbed by so many new artists since 2013. The amount of money he makes has made his music stagnant.
This bout to get spicy
😂😂😂
The funny thing is Joe ain’t lying I listen to it and fell asleep around the same track 12
When drake get too tweeting JB that's how you know the goat has been slain. Long Live Kendrick Cole. True to the game.
