Mitsuki's SO sweet and pretty, and by far my favorite KM character. It's so easy to feel sorry for her, she loves that guy SO much and he rarely gives her the time of day. This is a real tear-jerker, watching that poor girl pour her heart out.
Ever since i realize this girl has fallen for him i always keep asking "what does she see in him?" even now a small part of me questions it but then i learn love is stupidity itself. Its illogical, irrational, and at times lacks common decency. So to be with a fool is to become a fool yourself, and as we seen on this show, everybody here is not exactly a rocket scientist in their own little ways.

Her seeing that raw passion in him and other good traits he has, it's what makes it special on her side to crush on him As for Mikey, he is oblivious but we do see him progress into a guy appreciating her amongst his friends and not just someone who's there. at least, I think so.

While Mikey had many goofy and foolish moments that have led to disaster, those moments did not stop Mitsuki from being attracted to him. This could mean that his goofiness could be what she looks for in a guy.
In my honest opinion this is one the most saddest moments in anime history because this is the only song that actually makes me want to cry and it almost did in fact if someone singing that song to me I would been crying all day especially if that person was a girl

The events of "Mitsuki Butterfly" did show some strong indicators that they are meant for each other. Mikey was willing to ask her on a date, and her dad was able to bond with Mikey over their love of ribs. To be honest, things could not have been more perfect during that episode. Since there is absolutely no chance that this show would be revived, someone should really write a Valentine's Day fan fiction about her confessing her feelings. Everything just fits so perfectly since it is Japanese tradition for the girl to give something to the guy she likes. Someone should really make it happen.
I LOVED this show growing up. Used to watch it all the time I think on Nicktoons Network. And Mitsuki was always my favorite. She’s so pretty and sweet. I’d love to see a remake of this show, the mix in with the two drawing and animation styles would be great to see again for this show :)

As the series progressed Mikey became aware of Lily's cruelty and got over his crush on her and moved on to Mitsuki. The episode from season 2 called Mitsuki Butterfly is where he started developing serious feelings for her. Even at the end of this episode he made a romantic move on her but it was interrupted by Ozu so they could make a new episode of LilyMu.

Yusei The Majestic Star under love interests on his wiki page is listed as Lily and Mitsuki. He starts to be really mean to Lily in later episodes. He grows really sweet on Mitsuki.
Well, over the course of the series Mikey slowly starts to lose interest in Lily and starts to fall for Mitsuki. Later episodes (especially the ones from Season 2), strongly display that Mikey returns Mitsuki's feelings for him and the episode "Mitsuki Butterfly" kinda confirms that he does after he finds out that Mitsuki was the mysterious woman that he fell in love with and at the end of the episode, they discuss the possibility of them dating. There are tons of other shipping moments between them as well. I believe if the series had went on a bit longer, Mikey and Mitsuki would have became an official couple
