- So like I did for the iPhone 15 Pro Max. I will test the iPad Pro M2 for 25 minutes with Resident Evil Village. I will test in 25c ambient temps and set graphical settings to high. Last, I will show a real-time FPS reader during testing.

Bro, does this FPS counter work with all Apple devices, or is it only native to the iPhone 15 and iPad pro M2 ?
Hows the performance when connected to external display such as a living room TV?
I’m not gonna lie, the game looks incredible on the M2 iPad. Saying that, can you do a video of the iPhone 15 Pro running this with a cooler? I’d love to see what the A17 Pro can do when it’s properly cooled.
My guess is steady 45 to 50 fps at 720p and medium settings.

Great test and impressive performance. the question goes back to consumer right now, are you willing to pay full price ($60-70) for an AAA game on iPad (let's say the released date is same as console)?
I think apple will put AAA games on Apple Arcade. No one is dumb enough to buy a full price just to play on mobile. But having it on Apple Arcade might be a good idea, since we know how well Xbox gamepass is.

because the M1/M2 iPads have better CPU and better GPU and better Thermal management.
At the price of iPad pro m2 (in india) I will prefer to get a gaming pc or ps5
They aren't comparable one is actively cooled, plugged and has a much bigger profile and doesn't come with a display vs a tablet that can fit in a small bag.
It's like comparing Trucks and Bikes.

Yeah, but the laptop won't be nearly as thin, light, portable, or quiet when doing it.
Also, no chance it's running that 80W 2060 on battery. You need to be plugged in as well to get the same performance.
So the comparison kinda falls apart pretty quickly.

Yeah, primarily for clicks, but I do see it possibly dethroning the steam deck by 2025 if Apple could get at least a good 15-20 popular PC ports. As for PS5, it's still possible with the M3 iPad Pro and a good dedicated PC port library. Especially since you can easily hook to a TV with a HDMI cable

@snizekfilip this version is the same as MacOS, which is similar to PC and PS5. You can adjust settings to look exactly like PC - i.e. Max settings, which I'll probably test. I didn't think it would run this good at high, hencewhy I didn't test at Max settings

Honestly I can't tell the difference. I played this game on PS4 and it looks the same to me.

Game is mostly story oriented. Plus I cut 10 mins of gameplay out since it’s me just searching around for items to further advance in story.
