Brock was the primary caretaker of his siblings when his parents were away, and he also had to run the gym. When his dad comes back , Brock then gets to join Ash. Misty doesn't have the best relationship with her sisters at the start, as they are a trio of synchronized swimmers who exclude Misty and then they leave her to take over the gym while they are on a "world trip" (according to the wiki). Digimon def has more varied and deeper discussions of home life though. Great video!

i definitely will tbh i can't go very long without thinking about digimon.. i'm a few videos ahead in terms of scripting so i think i'm gonna start writing a dedicated frontier script as soon as i can 🥴
Digimon Tamers is easily one of my favourite anime of all time. Unfortunately the dub loses a lot of the maturity and nuance that can be found in the sub. The translation is mostly faithful but I feel that it definitely loses a little something.
i promise next time the captions will be more accurate and less tainted by my half awake delirium
I loved watching Digimon tamers on Jetix, haven't played any of the actual games yet though.
