@@jsrosete84 I did. It honestly looked and played surprisingly decent. Nearly locked 30fps and the controls were pretty intuitive. I will say that the sub-native resolution is disappointing but it's doable. I wound up selling the switch lite not because the games looked or player poorly, but because it personally wasn't ergonomic and I'd rather play on PC/Console for at home gaming.

When I played this game on pc at 2017 I said, if this had a switch version, would be the best versión no matter the graphics, because the game has so many details and a slow and beautiful pace that woul be confortable for anyone on the go

I think the perfect combo is, DOS2 on steam and switch. I mean, I'm pretty sure dock mode is not great but in handheld is gold. Now if you have time enough, just go and open your save on steam. Beautiful idea from Larian.

What you watch on your player from that video capture is not what you get in reality. It's a difference made by bitrate capture settings, video resolution, audio codec used and so on. A video capture will be always modified by the tech used to capture it and it will look better than it is in reality.

Its about pixel density a 720p Game on a 6.2 inch screen will look sharp but a 900p game on a 55 inch TV will look blurry even though 900p has more pixels then 720p if that makes sense
Very love this game. I think now it's my favorite RPG on console. Funny moment, when i launched Divinity for a first time, i didn't appreciate it. It seemed for me like a boring game with a very long dialoges. And now, after 2 years playng of different games i come back to divivnity, becouse i grown up mentaly :D

The problem with bringing more powerful games to phones isn't actually power anymore. It's this thing called thermal throttling. Basically a CPU stops running as efficiently once it gets to a certain temperature, and in phones there isn't any active cooling, it's all done passively thought the phone itself, which is fine for most things, but if you try to run something really intensive it'll thermal throttle and slow down (basically you could play for maybe like 30 minutes at a time)
@@nicholaswoo7449 but there are phones made for it and android devices that can be made solely for gaming, like shield was and such, problem is devs arent doing the porting for games and companies also lacking in building them...smh with the sales mobile phones make and such, just embarrassing imo that we dont have tons of handheld gaming tech out there being...quite odd, unless we are actually getting there...not to mention all these game streaming on the go options that are coming
@@absurdh3ro i agree and them attachable controllers are sick, i swear if devs would just drop/port games on it id buy off the rip...miss sony making premium built gaming devices too...but i guess least people can emulate some sick emulators/games...heck by sheer brute force ps2 emulators beeb running on snapdragon already now, something only beastly pc's were able to just barely do for the longest time, not to mention dolphin and such run amazing/pretty much 100%, something u cant say does well on tegra x1 at all, not the latest shield or even worse on switch (since it's a paired back tegra x1 of course), which sucks and almost makes emulating pointless for it since there go gamecube games out the window, i guess least can pirate their own games tho lol oh and the iPhone chips are freakin insane forreal esp the upcoming one, if it was open and made for gaming, i feel that's easily current gen graphics and such that people hoped basically switch would have been on the go with basically no compromises...of course size battery and all would have to be bigger likely, but i bet apple could engineer a beast gaming handheld if they really wanted...again I'm surprised companies havent already done it left and right...these rog phones are dope but if devs aren't dropping games on it, makes it almost pointless, so google or whoever gotta make a device for it so devs will want to...heck with stadia, x cloud and all that competing crap for on the go as well, maybe microsoft and google will make gaming handhelds and then apple will want to to compete...sony with ps now (and partnering with microsoft for streaming recently) i have a feeling will as well have a device during next gen, heck their patent shows they def been looking into it, not to mention they been trying it with vita and phones too
If you have ipad air 4 or better, you should buy ipadOS version of this game! short summary: - Graphic MUCH MUCH better !!!! - Sound better ! - Control better ! - Can cross save if you have steam PC version. - and ironically CHEAPER !!! - BTW iPad screen is bigger, so you can see more detail. This game is not design for small screen at the beginning, there is many tiny objects in game. The version on Switch is literally Rip off !!

The "downgrades" become very apparent in dock mode so i would get it on another console if you only play docked.
