Most people don't know that Kristen Bell went the Tisch Performing arts school at NYU and started out after graduating by working on Broadway working in two productions with roles. Then she transitioned to film and left the singing behind. When she first was told she had to sing with Idina, Kristen basically said "I cannot keep up with her!" However, she met Idina in her home, and Idina said she had a great voice. Being able to do the first film with her restored her confidence to the point that now she is willing to perform with Idina live like here. She really still has an amazing voice and can keep up with anyone. She is extremely talented as an actress, comedian, and singer.

Whether Idina and Kristen are singing on film or live, they sound amazing either way. Glad they were able to go through recording sessions together (when their other fellow voice actors weren’t available), especially recording for the two Frozen films. Gives that sense of ambience and realism in a conversation.
