The super Mario Maker ads really defined my childhood back then. Whenever I got the chance I would ALWAYS beg my parents for a Wii U or a 3DS, we couldn't at the time so the least I had back then was my PS2... Now I have a Nintendo 3DS XL and I can emulate a Wii U with my PC now, I got the chance to try it out and I loved playing it, I stopped playing for a while since I couldn't get the items all at once and yeahhh...

Tbh the Wii U was a great concept and a really fun one too. To me if Nintendo just marketed it less to kid and more towards adults and used the mechanics of the game pad in more interesting ways we may have had a really successful console on our hands.
Yeah, but the Switch has pretty much fixed all the problems Nintendo had with the Wii U, so at this point it’s kind of a lost cause. Not saying it was a bad console, hell I still play my Wii U from time to time, but it’s very clear that the console is completely dead and will become Nintendo’s black sheep in their history.
