Always have a Druid alt (especially if your main is melee or hybrid) and make sure to level him up at least as much as your main. Once Luclin opens up, take any other alts you make straight to Paludal Caverns; the XP there was absolutely insane, totally worth the run. Plus, the Druid buffs and teleports never go out of style, although the ports do drop off in terms of *necessity* with Luclin and PoK. The only other class I can think of with more utility in terms of power leveling alts (for melees/hybrids) would maybe be a Shaman; but that class has universal popularity, regardless of expansion/era, so you should never have a problem getting those buffs no matter what level you are.
That’s another reason I forgot to add to fight close to home I’ll prolly start off with the monks and carry the other classes along till I can afford spells ;( it’s a brutal process but I may only pick up spells when new heals are available etc
yeah I am guilty of the long runs..love Unrest but I mean you need the dps from thes 5-9 spells to get to 15. Why I always take forever getting to level 9 but I typically have bags and spells to carry me to 20. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out for you.
I think I figured it out. I usually just vendor everything that drops until I get a few levels ahead in spells. Resist the urge to vendor any tradeskill drops and sell them in EC tunnel. I bet by level 3 or 4 you will have what you need to get to 15.
@@denniswright2233 what do you play normally? Solo? Box? I tend to focus on the melee classes and drag the others around with me so you could very well see two monks leading my group around and only buying heals and key buffs till I get money.
Main an Enchanter, typically box a Druid but on Mischief I boxed a cleric. Ranger and Sk are the only "mele" classes I enjoy. Never been my cup of tea. I am planning on riding Mischief to live but I am going to play a little on the new server. Planning to box a Chanter with a mage this time, adding a Shamy when truebox relaxes. At least the mage will be able to summon bandages haha.
I recall watching Cohh on Aradune's launch. He took a pug into Befallen. There were mobs that required magic weapons to hit. They went back to N. Ro.
That would suck, good thing to mention for anyone reading comments tho.
That's not a thing anymore they removed that
@@kevincaron1790 Wait what? On the DB TLPs, low level magic weapon required mobs has been deflagged?

Once you have a druid or play one it's really hard to not have one somewhere.
So they didnt change red wine quest to just give faction and no exp?
I don’t know if that was a global change or if it happens at some point I have to read up on it or try it on the new one ;(
correct, no more red wine
@@bad_manbot dang !
This is EverQuest. They don't like when players do quests. The more you do quests the more likely you are to get banned.
I miss my old guild so much.
How old is old? what server?
@@vanman2099 don't even remember server name, over 20 years ago.
@@GordonKing-io6ip most have been merged with others many times lol I played on Prexus from like 1999-2005
@@vanman2099 I feel like I would remember it if I saw it again... Only server I remember from a game that I mained on was Baja, for Ultima Online.
What are you doing about spells during this time?
